Commentaire de Zwarg (de la version supprimée - 3 août 2024, 15h45 heure française) "Although the rpm speed is already high, I think it is still not high enough. The announcer sounds very unnatural, and the arrangement comes out transposed down by two full tones: The original score ends in G and your transfer in E-flat. One tone higher (final chord F) it sounds more convincing to me and it still in comfortable brass-band keys (the opening even more so: F minor instead of E-flat minor). But of course that is just my subjective impression, I have no proof either way. And I agree that the speed for the pitch I prefer is rather absurd at circa 98.5 rpm - but OTOH I have an Odeon recorded in Vienna in 1906 that runs, without much room for doubt, at 103 rpm! This suggestion to try raising the pitch/speed by a full tone BTW extends to your other recent Odeon postings (Nice-Station and Marie Tudor) that all have the same cavernous-sounding announcements and somehow muffled and sluggish sound."
