I'm am sorry (actually, no I'm not) I can never agree with a police decision to back off and not have at least one cop there in the chase with lights and sirens. that could save lives; while to back off and give the public no warning this maniac is on the lose is criminal, in my opinion and I'd l'd like to see any supervisor who does that fired and relieved of their duty and the reasons, they are a danger to the public. Sirens and lights need to be going off to give the innocent people notice that this is a dangerous place and beware. So, please let them know whoever decided silence was golden here; please relieve them of their duties. That will be a great public service.

In the future they'll have drones that hover over the city. As soon as their eye catches someone not following normal traffic flows it will move directly above the vehicle, reach down with grabbing arms and pick up the vehicle right off the highway. Then they'll move over the police station and deposit the car in the impound lot and the driver will be arrested.
