SUSPECTS CAUGHT: Following lengthy police chase through streets of Downtown Los Angeles

Police were in pursuit of an SUV traveling at high speeds carrying at least one robbery suspect that started in Glendale on Tuesday afternoon.
The pursuit began around 3:30 p.m.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirms the driver of the SUV being chased by officers is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Highland Park.
The vehicle traveled on the wrong side of the road, ran stop lights and was throwing items out of a rear passenger-side window.
A passenger in that SUV being chased by police is throwing items out of a rear passenger-side window.
The driver of the SUV in that pursuit has crashed and tried to flee on foot, but was chased down by officers.
One other suspect involved in that pursuit has also been taken into custody in Echo Park.

When I drove 18 wheelers there was a police chase coming from behind. I heard on the CB about it coming my way. I pulled up next to a driver motioned for him to get on the cb. I said cops chasing car our way numerous miles. Want to play squeeze play on him. So we did. Afterwords the police said " A Huge thank YOU we were chasing him for an hour. Thank you. I asked what did he do. He replied "YOU do NOT want to know. But it was pretty BAD!"
