I rode a trolley in Phoenix, AZ, in the late 40s and then they disappeared. Of course, now taxpayers have spent millions on light rail, mostly in the same destinations.

Now Los Angeles brought back some of the rail system but in a different way.

It’s interesting the 5 Line’s right-of-way has been used for the modern day Crenshaw/LAX Line (now K Line)
