La rondine a fabulous opera by puccini,rarely staged today,its full of beautiful arias,and very well sung here,and much better than the usual la traviata and carmen than so many pop up opera crowds do.a big thumbs up for tenor and soprano

Just waiting for you to step forward! My grandmother was engaged to a performer in a big theatrical company, which included a Wagnerian opera singer. When my grandmother had her baby, she suggested the name Mavis, would ensure her of a beautiful voice. Alas, tone deaf. But my mum taught us to love opera, and it is a pleasure I cherish!

Aphoresis Ha-ha. Ha. I used to be able to, but I haven't had lessons in years. My dad was a singing teacher, and before that an opera singer. We know plenty of theatre and music people here, but I don't know how easy it would be to organise a flash mob. It'd be fun to do it in the middle of the city.

As opposed to all that *spontaneously* incredibly-skilled performance that happens? Oh wait. No it doesn't. In order for something to be that beautiful and delightful, it has to be practiced and planned. That's what makes it special -- all those people spent all that time preparing to bring a beautiful moment to strangers in a Tesco. I just hope such a thing is never wasted on you.
