Maybe it is just my thinking but it's really a blessing to have your hair cut/beard shaved/trimmed by a barber who actually loves his/her job and is really passionate about it than a barber who only cuts your hair & shaves/trims your beard for the sake of it.

I love that you're using "regular" clippers like the t-outliner and the Senior. The implication is that you have to buy the newest and most expensive equipment out there in order to be an awesome barber. This just proves that theory completely wrong.

I had these cuts in early 90s. Faded stars, initials .. dudes were using the same techniques with the razors and everything. I respect the dude for his work but this is nothing new.

100's...try thousands across the U.S. at a minimum. Every city has Black barbers who have been doing this going back decades. We were rocking these styles back in the 80's when I was in junior high.

The title says he's a LA fade art barber. I didn't hear anyone in the video say that he came up with this style. He did say that it isn't easy and implied you have to use sharp tools and be good at this. But that's the same requirements as a finish carpenter too.
