Definitely agree with s.d never knew there was a second channel. The low fi unseen food places like the food trucks that regularly go unnoticed should be shone in the spotlight now and again it gives us from other parts of the world a glimpse into what awesome choice of foods of different cultures are really available. Even food vending machines can surprise you now and mostly disappoint really😂 excellent job keep up the good work youngman😉👌

Random unscheduled stops is the best way to find interesting places to eat. You never know when you find that little hidden gem in the next stop. That makes for some of the best dining experiences. Please come to San Antonio Texas soon. I have lived here for about 2 years and there are plenty of great foodie experiences here

Kogi is very good! I used to go to the Santa Monica location for lunch pre-COVID era and sometimes Roy Choi would be there in the truck! I know they have a schedule on their website.

Just finished your episode of the Bertcast yesterday, you we're so good I listened to it twice in a row!!! It was really great to hear your story. As a fan of both channels, I know little bits and pieces about your story and how you ended up doing what youre doing. But it was fun to get such a deep dive into you're whole experience. Having Bert there to fill in some of the blanks on your time at Travel channel, and to give his perspective on some of the places you've been and some of the production "inside baseball" stuff was really interesting. It's very apparent that Bert is a huge fan, which made the pod alot of fun. You're an excellent interview guest, you had a lot of good questions and insights, and your story is such a good one. Definitely.one of my favourite podcast episode this year. Great job!!!

Sorry, Sonny, that was one of the saddest looking tortas I've ever seen and I live in Cali. It should be loaded with much more meat, beans, avocado, tomato, onions, mayo, cheese, jalapeno, etc., not just one slice of meat and a lot of lettuce. Plus the girl's attitude sucked. The mulitas and tacos were okay. See if you can locate the Kogi truck and check their schedule online. The bugolgi/kalbi/pork tacos are good and Roy Choi is super cool. He has a fleet of taco trucks throughout the LA and Orange County areas.

I was like wtf is that?? Dried up meat looking like tasajo 🤦🏻‍♂️ that’s the most depressing torta I ever seen! That looks like something my 10 year old nephew would make and even he would make it look better smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

I agree with that, in a mexican torta has to be way more than a thin slice of beef and that massive amount of lettuce. For that price it should be possible to serve the torta with much more goodies inside.

That first sandwich was just underwhelming to me at least. I’m with you on the lettuce. I like romaine myself but not a lot on a sandwich. That second truck though….wow. Never seen the molitas (sorry if I misspelled that) and they look phenomenal! The street tacos looked delicious as well. Now back to the ramen. I’m not a huge fan of ramen but that really looked good. I wish you’d had pho. I’m craving pho. I’m in a desolate part of New Mexico for business and it’s a food desert. Nothing but fast food. Hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to go to LA before I go back home. Where I live has 5 Vietnamese restaurants within a 5 mile radius of me. Didn’t realize how much I’d miss it 😢
