For the first time in the history and the Olympic Games flag football is now at the Olympic sports. Hopefully, they’ll be lots of NFL player would come here to smash the competition but that’s just pro football. This is Olympics. Flag football is gonna be great.

Lacrosse sixes makes NO SENSE. There is ALL READY a 6v6 version of the game. It's called box lacrosse. It has a world championship every 4 years with about 30 countries participating.

I mean, football also has the World Cup and Olympics. They are 2 separate competitions.

@@solenstyle Yes, but they did not "invent" a new version of football to be played at the Olympics. Rugby invented 7's for the Olympics. Lacrosse invented 6's for the Olympics but they all ready have a version of the game called box lacrosse that has a professional league, international competitions and a world championship. It was stupid for them to invent a new version of lacrosse for the Olympics. And it is really just political because SOME PEOPLE in the United States do not think Box Lacrosse is "real" lacrosse. Putting lacrosse in the Olympics is NOT the issue. Making a completely new game (6's) for the Olympics IS the problem.

The IOC did away with the International Boxing Federation earlier this year and I guess that might ultimately be leading to a doing away with Boxing itself from the Olympics even after Thomas Bach the head of the IOC said that they would not do away with Boxing. This does not add up for me.

It would be decided later. Maybe when the IOC recognised the new boxing federation.
