Labadee may be open for business according to Royal caribbean. But not for me. I was supposed to go there but after the government of the United States issued a level 4 warning do not travel to haiti, in the airplanes were shot at going into haiti. Not for me Royal Caribbean can take a chance at going there they say they have armed guards there but I bet you they're not their 24 hours a day 7 days a week protecting their island. And besides who's going to stop a bunch of people who have guns coming around to their private island and they've also stopped going to a port in Mexico because of a level 4 us warning it's kind of suspicious to me Royal Caribbean wants to go to their private island to make more money than keeping us safe

Thanks for you perspective. Labadee is very isolated and it was closed for quite some time due to an abundance of caution. If you don’t feel like it’s safe yet then definitely don’t go. It’s such a beautiful spot. Hopefully the US warnings will change soon. wherever you go … enjoy. Happy new year.
