Thus the cycle of just being able to project the blame on 'the guys before us' continues. Any government will be able to push through any controversial decision with little fuss from the public as long as they can say 'blame ______ before us for leaving such a mess!' The Tories did that to Labour previously, and now Labour gets to do it to the Tories now. Looking at it more objectively though, it does make me wonder how much of anything really is to blame on the outgoing party, how much would have been unavoidable no matter who was in power, and how much is really just the current party wanting to push through controversial legislation while blaming a scapegoat.

What they don't realise is, is that the richer people are moving out of the country, so that's why they will always generate less tax revenue from rich, and most people that come into the country are the poorer people and that's why tax revenue reduces and benefits payouts increase per person. There is £9billion in fiscal headroom ref the independent OBR. You can read it on the OBR website. Where is the money coming from for the 22% doctors pay rise or the other NHS pay rise. £11.6 billion to foreign green projects (?). Where is the money coming from. Basic question ?
