Adolescents and young people with 'gender dysphoria' need proper mental health support, not easier ways to have their delusions affirmed. 'Gender dysphoria' is predominantly a symptom, not a condition, as the rates of co-morbidities reported from gender clinics demonstrate; when it's not the result of social contagion. There is nothing degrading about having to think carefully about transition - being given all the facts, including the uncomfortable ones - and having medical professionals sign off on what is a life-changing, and potentially irreversible course. Driving licences, passports, medical records, etc, are all updated independently of a gender recognition certificate It has zero impact on access to spaces. That is down to the equality act. If you have children if they are having a bad time at school their counsellors will be encouraged to ask them if they feel comfortable in their body and if your child voices anything that can be construed as gender uncertainty then they will be given access to more material around the subject of gender therapy, pubity blocking drugs, then when your child feels good about getting all this special attention they may start to believe that it is indeed gender that is their issue and then ask for gender affirming surgery and labour threaten to take that decision away from parents and put it in the hands of often very shall we say 'progressive' therapists and doctors and then give your daughter a mastectomy, remove their womb, or allow your son you have bits removed.
