Hello Vikas, this is a long shot to ask but here I go. I have a physical server with Windows 2012 R2 Datacenter which host a HyperV Windows 2016 server. I'd like to have 5 users to connect to the HyperV machine with RDS, is this possible? Do you have a link I can use to check out the implementation? Thanks.

Hello, thank you for the great tutorial. I having issues, after doing the sysprep on the vm running on HyperV, the server was turned off. After starting it, the rds server has now a different computer name and its not join in the domain although the services that I install were still there. I rejoin it in the domain and now in the "overview" in the remote desktop services says " the following servers in this deployment are not part of the server pool: please help thank you

You should create all the infrastructure like DNS, DHCP in one video instead of part by part.

I followed the hands on, but got the hyper-v machine on a fysical machine, and the Broker and Web Access virtual, but keep getting the message when trying to create the VDI pool: Could not identify the state of the virtual desktop. Ensure that the RD Virtualization Host server is available on the network. Am i missing something (rights?).

Had the same problem, just solved it by trying again a few times, but I heard that you have to install HyperV Guest Additions (or something like that)

great information, but i have small doubt i created session based app and VDI, i seen it is possible only one collection for one group or user per server, i want to create more collection with single server is it possible because user A want to user one host and some application, and host B use his virtual host and his application, is it possible to create more collection with differnt group in single server. Thanks

is hypervisor itself a Domain Contoller for the VM systems? or there is a VM that is a DC. where are you installing CALS for RDP. is that on the DC? if it is, could that be on a VM DC? i dislike the idea of running Active Directory on the hypervisor server.
@LabsHandsOn6 жыл бұрын
Dear Bilal, Its upon you where you want to run DC, But whole world is moving to VMs. CAL you need to install on RDS Licensing Server.
@aadammahmood16256 жыл бұрын
Vikas Singh Don’t we have to have a domain controller that runs RDS licensing server. But question is that the hypervisor can use the dc as rds licensing server and can enable RemoteFX for different VMs? Even for some that Are not members of domain?
