Actually I wouldn't say so. Maybe moreso thee Directors fault. The scene calls for him to roll into the water due to the shock/surprise of someone being there suddenly. With his arms out stretched it would have taken much more effort to roll over into the water, it would have looked forced and unnatural, however with his arms tucked behind his head he can easily roll over and into the water. The scene was shot in multiple takes, some of which with only one Actor present (pov scenes etc), and in the end it was edited together (the best they could with what they had). If it (the scene) had of been shot in a single take from the point where he comes into it this error would have been avoided. Now perhaps it wasn't possible (due to scheduling, budget etc) to shoot it in a single take, idk, but, back to my original point, I wouldn't pin it on the Actor.

It doesn't matter if the movie story is good if the casting is terrible. That actress playing Alice, it doesn't matter how much of her body and close up to her face was done, it will NEVER make her a good actress. It end up spoiling the whole movie after so much money was spent on the making of it. Had to stop watching and I don't even loose time watching the 2th part. TERRIBLE.

My god this is so boring…what is it about??? What’s going on??? Period dramas are just awful How we try and portray people from thousands of years ago but with the nuances of today’s behavioural traits and characteristics …it just comes across as obnoxious. I mean when is this set?? Why does it feel like every soap opera on TV ??? 😂 Im pretty people were a LOT more primal in their demeanor….hell of a lot less sensitive and more direct This literally comes across like an episode of Home & Away or something 😂 How can people SIT through it!??
