Love this tutorial, hadn’t thought to make fabric beads, such fun to embellish with thread and beads. Have you tried rolling the fabric on a drinking straw. The fabric can be glue to the straw at the beginning, when you have finished rolling you simply cut the straw level with the end of the bead. The straw gives the bead more structure. Xx

So educational, thank you. I don't know if you have any idea how helpful and educational the way you do things is for those of us who are more novice crafters, but it's really great. I make earrings, and this is a way to get some large focal point beads without adding too much weight. Tfs.

QUESTION: On the yellow lace bead with the bead edges - did you buy that lace ribbon with the beads already on the edges OR did you hand sew the beads onto the edges? I appreciate your reply! (P.S.
