I made this with a larger yarn and 3.75mm hook to practice before doing it on smaller yarns, and it looks like a carnation on larger yarn! I also made a mistake and made 6 petals on the 3rd row of petals and it made it scrunch up so nicely. It would made a beautiful applique with larger yarn, if intended as a carnation, on a hat or headband.

So i checked out your videos. I seen you had a video of the tool and thread plus other. I will have to find that thread size n hook. I really like the technique you came up with to crochet that tiny rose❣ You n one other i have found that do that tiny micro crochet! The other lady does not crochet the rose this way. But i like the flat side for attaching to my project. Thankyou for taking the time to teach n spread the love❣ "Hugs"
