The Yanagi drip marketing definitely changed my plans a bit. I just cannot skip a pink woman, glasses girl, office lady mommy. I can't, man. And the fact that she's an anomaly (potentially an off-field or disorder-centered anomaly) just sold the idea that she might the perfect fit as the third slot for my Jane-Seth team over Burnice. That being said, I'm still gonna wait and assess Burnice value and make the final decision. Some people play for the meta, others play for the waifus. I like to balance both, since Im F2P and i do wanna play this game long-term. My other account is in shambles tho. I'm pulling for Caesar there and i really was hoping that Lighter would be the perfect DPS for Caesar. But him coming out as a Stun Agent just put a wrench on my plans. I really, REALLY love his design but that account has no need for stunners. I got an M1 Lycaon and Koleda with her sig. I don't need another Stun agent.

I'm glad you mentioned Lighter doesn't have to be a DPS. Too many people are obssessed with the class concept to realize that ZZZ at its peak will focus its design on maling classes more nuanced. Not every S rank needs to be DPS focused, and you can still have insane burst damage or base damage output without being classified as a DPS, like Qingyi. I'm sure Lighter will have his place in comps

Depends, some enemies might be hard to parry like Thanatos, plus Caesar only gives a flat 1000 atk, while Qingyi gives a whooping 240% additional attack value multipliers. I think Qingyi is REALLY good still, but Caesar is a lot more flexible so you can fit her in more comps. Think it's worth of give and take.

@@gestily I only want another Qingyi that boosts stun dmg multiplier + atk buffs or a unit that has a lot of debuff application that can boost Jane's dmg even more, this is the one that I want to pair with Jane, I don't want Ceasar tbh. Since My Jane already has 446 AP, I really don't need Seth. However, since I'm going for her M6 in her re-run, I need as much as AP I can get. So yea, that's my plan.

I'm undecided. I'm definitely pulling for Caesar, since my only stunner is Qingyi. Will not pull Lighter since no males allowed (my stupid rule, since Genshin). Appreciate the break. I'd like to see more on what Yanagi does. On field Anomaly dps, off field, disorder. I'm skipping Jane so we'll see.

My man said element doesnt matter. Uh yeah it does. While stunners can slot into most teams, since they are usually there just to apply daze, Lycaon's bis is ice because he has a passive with ice shred which allows Ellen and Soukaku to deal more damage. Qingyi has the benefit of being more generalist tho since her passive ability just needs an attack type character. Again it will depend on what Lighter does but I would imagine you would use him in a fire team maybe synergize with burn? Idk lets see

This might be just be me puffing a shit ton of copium but one of koleda's strengths is that she is able to quickly enter the field, one tap the daze bar, and leave which makes her work decently well with greedy on field DPS units like Jane. And from what we know of lighter's move set from the leaks he seems like he wants to spend a large amount of time on field, WHICH MEANS Koleda would be the better stunner for on field DPS units like Jane, while Lighter would be the better choice for off-field DPS units like Burnice

He needs to be in fire teams. he need to hit burned enemies Lighter skills leaked already. He increase his own fire dmg and the more he stacks with his normal attack the more fire dmg he does and when he hits a burned enemy he deals more damage. he do not buff his team whatsoever he only buffs himself. but he has no daze buffs in his kit. it literally makes no sense him being a stunner. I got disappointed that he isn't an attacker. Most likely his best team will be him, Burnice and Lucy or Ceasar

Given that the change of his from Attack to Stun agent happened recently, there's a good chance his kit will have a complete adjustment to fit a specific niche for stunning. If not, then they're really just making Lighter into a Stunner cosplaying as a DPS and they're doing my boi dirty

Oh yay (/s), a 2nd Grace, and and a 2nd Koleda, while there are still loads of underutilized combinations, and one hugely underutilized element (Ether). I was expecting Yanagi to be ether anomaly. I would have been fine with Lighter as fire attacker (mainly because I don't have Soldier 11, and I do have Koleda), but it would have been much better if they made him fire defender (especially that they gave him a taunt - something tanks have, it just looks like they changed the classification last second, for whatever stupid reason). ZZZ is so early in development, and they are duplicating existing roles so soon? I was already lukewarm about 1.2, still having hopes for 1.3, but after the reveal all the remaining shreds of hype just evaporated.

Grace is not good unit. Not a team player, only buffs herself all the way to the core like she's some kind of Attack Unit even when her Anomaly can not achiev that without an ally. Shock Anomaly begs for Assault. Aside from that, she's a Enabler for Anton. Let me be clear here, I'm a hater. Plus for the fact that even without her (Anton/Anby/Rina Team) You can clear this game with ease. Koleda in the other hand... Well I have to be frank that it doesn't take much to get something better. The fact that we don't appreciate Chain Attack DMG bonuses as much, and she doesn't apply any extra vulnerability for the stunned targets. Lighter HAS to be a better and some what new approach to the Stun Gang. But doesn't mean he is a must or even a upgrade from Koleda, her burst daze damage will always be appreacited. With all that said, I might be losing my 50/50 to Grace after pulling for Caesar. But I'll not be silent before my disappointment with Grace character. GLHF Everyone.

I realize there are some people who don’t play her on field at all and just use her to defensive assist. If you’re playing her off field with the engine and just coming in to defensive assist before swapping then I’m sure she’s fine. I see people doing that. I think the point is that she’s too clunky to deal with. If you’re playing her on field C0E0 then I salute your abilities! If you’re doing that when you have a stun unit with a working dodge button then I’m even more impressed.
