Fascinating stuff Peter. I really need these guys on my gardenia and frangipani plants to clean up all the pests underneath the leaves. They certainly are good predators. Thanks for sharing mate, great video 🙏

It’s just incredible to watch these Peter. I always say, who needs the Serengeti when you can see this happening just outside! Never seen this before - it’s amazing. I learn so much from your Channel now. Amazing Lacewings!! And amazing footage!! Top stuff as always - have a good week mate

I looked them up and we have these here too known as the “Tasmanian Lacewing” widely distributed and noted as a useful pest controller. Great pictures as usual Peter .

Who knew! We occasionally see the adults in the summer here, I don't think I've ever seen a larvae though and didn't know they were predators. Great video Peter.

Thanks a lot Andrew. I’ve only seen a few around myself and was lucky to capture this footage in the backyard. Cheers😀

It's the body shape of an elongated doodlebug. It's sucking out their body fluids, isn't it? I saw it for the first time, thanks for the valuable video.

Hey there, thanks a lot! Yes, it’s a lacewing larva, you’re correct. Cheers
