i feel like the whole debacle about lachesis's love life could be explained much more easily by nanna being adopted. there's nothing to suggest diarmuid and nanna having different biological fathers is canonical, or at the very least nothing to suggest it's more canon than any other theory. i much prefer the explanation that beowolf sired both of lachesis's children before he fucked off and died, and finn ended up becoming nanna's found family after spending over a decade running from the empire with her, lachesis, and leif. this makes perfect sense in the story, and it is also possible to replicate within genealogy of the holy war's gameplay mechanics.

An eminently important video! I was aware of Lachesis's broken promotion in gameplay - enough to question her OG art's overly moe design - but didn't have much story context. I have even more respect for her now, what an amazingly strong woman. A lot of people want a resplendent to fix the art. I say: IS you cowards, just give us a broken Master Knight Lachesis alt instead.

I kinda just assumed that Fin just adopts Nanna in 776, but it does makes sense since Nanna can't use the Beo Sword(unless it's male locked?). I didn't know about the 3rd generation thing! Missed potential :( I don't really see any of the manga adaptations being canon, but wasn't the one for fe4 the one that completely omits Beowolf since the mangaka didn't like him? Regardless I LOVE that idea of Lachesis using her Earth Sword that way!

Did Lachesis do magikarp power better then well magikarp? Blogged about it last year in regards to reflecting on life.Both class change/or transform at level 20 lol. Heck Seisen No Keifu and pocket monsters red/green were both released in Japan in 1996. Master Knight is my fave unique class in the series and will go into detail why. -Combine paragon ring by killing chapter 2 boss with return staff spam and can promote her early. -Becomes a cavalry class as master knight so she jumps from 6 points of movement to 9. -The promo bonuses are pretty good. +5s, 6s, 7s, stuff like that. -Gains the pursuit skill so she can now double attack. -Serves as Ethlin replacement since she will now be on a horse and gain A-rank in staffs. -Speaking of A-ranks here's my favourite part about master knights. A master knight has access to every A-rank weapon except for light magic for some bizarre reason. -In chapter 3 she deal with the javelin spamming cross knights if she's a master knight and she can take advantage of her 9 move to speak with her half-brother to get the earth sword. -Pairing her with Beowulf is beneficial cause her son Delmud will have A-rank in swords due to her holy blood and 80% strength if Beo is the daddy. Furthermore being cavalry means she can keep up with him more frequently. Finn is popular too for miracle skill to pass down ensuring survivability. -Due to the 9 movement gained she can apply her charm skill to provide a small I think it's 10% boost to hit and avoid keeping everybody else safe. I'm sure there's more but Raquesis or Lachesis or whatever name Jugdral dudes name her I think highly due to the fact she becomes a master knight.

As much as I feel they absolutely betrayed Lachesis' character with her art in Heroes, I have to disagree with your take on the Oosawa manga. I've essentially read the entire first generation of it, and while I really liked the first few chapters (approx. up to Chapter 3), it really began to fall apart for me in Chapter 4, and at the end of Chapter 5 (in other words, the Battle of Belhalla), I was so disappointed that I simply stopped reading. I know it'd probably turn a lot of people off, but the relationship stuff between Eldigan and Lachesis actually wasn't such a big deal for me (in fact, I even liked the concept, though I probably would've handled some things differently). What really pissed me off was the entire Silesse arc, especially this weird "come-to-Jesus" moment one of Lewyn's uncles had - heck, they even did the same thing for Reptor later (I'm just not a big fan of this "the villain needs to have some redeemable quality to be likeable" thing). However, my biggest letdown was without a doubt the characterization of Arvis, specifically during the Battle of Belhalla. For me, every adaptation of FE4 rises and falls with how Arvis is portrayed - and since Oosawa's version just really didn't make the cut on that front, the only thing it did in the end was leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

I read the manga until around chapter 3 and I feel like it was incredibly mediocre. The romance is rushed and forced, and the whole thing is super “shoujo”, for lack of a better term to put it. For instance some of the dialogues can be extremely cringy, and it focuses too much on romantic relationships between the characters than on the story (which is presented incoherently to anyone unless you’ve played fe4). I wish we had more realistic, relatable characters rather than caricatures. I’ve also heard that it doubles down on the incest in the second generation, which is disgusting. That being said I do like how Lachesis is portrayed in the manga, at least from what I’ve seen here, and Ethlyn quickly became one of my favorite characters in fe4 because of how much the manga enriched her character. Obviously it must have been a huge logistical struggle to juggle so many characters and relationships with the massive story of fe4 and deadlines, but I feel like if the author focused on just a few characters and relationships the manga would have been much better.

I am very sorry in advance, this comment was not warranted. I liked all the memes in the vid and I adore Lachesis and the implicit character development she goes through through gameplay. She's top 3 of my favorite FE4 characters. I honestly cannot stand Oosawa's manga and not for any of the obvious reasons. I think it does a huge disservice to many but especially villain characters and cranks up the melodrama to 100 way too often. Lachesis took her secret love to her grave, though Beowulf figured it out, and then somehow Nanna found out and That made her want to pursue her relationship with Ares and never let him go. It bothers me so much when I see the misinterpretation of Eldigan as an idiot when he admits he suspected Shargaal and never actually trusts him, just begs whatever god will listen to give that asshole some sanity. So he goes to Shargaal specifically because he can't stand the idea of cutting down his own sister. Sigurd is one thing, something he can compartmentalize: he represents the invading force; they are both knights; it's nothing personal. He knew exactly what might happen when he approached the gates once more, he's given up. Even Shargaal is like "you're not even fighting back? how pathetic." when he orders his execution. But what else is he supposed to do? His dear friend Sigurd has invaded Augustria and that's something he can't put back in the pandora's box no matter how much he promises it will all be returned within a year. Even if he turned kingslaying (which would be WILDLY OOC for a man as caught up in duty and honor as Eldigan, who cares deeply about the repercussions of his actions and sees the bigger picture to a fault unlike Sigurd and Quan who only see what is directly in front of them), what does it matter? Granvalle is a beast that smells blood, their justification to conquer the rest of Augustria will have been made. It's a destabilized country, why not swallow it up and bring "order" to these people. It's such a tragic tale and my favorite out of generation 1. To somehow twist that to oh Eldigan's just thinking with his dick again, he doesn't care about his country more than he does his hot sister lmao drives me up the wall.

BRUH Chagall is the name of Marc Chagall, the expressionist painter that was so self-assorbed he wouldn't leave his studio unless he wore a new outfit and had a full face of makeup on everytime, but when he was inside painting he'd stay completely naked - probably reflecting the double-faced nature of the character. It's pronounced like "Sha-gahl"
