Not as much as a problem as you might think , farmers and locals keep the numbers down if there is a spike in numbers foxes are probably more of an issue but again nothing that cant be controlled

Amazing job! It's a high point in my week, and so much fun to learn new things, even though I'm way too old to put any of the farming information to work. But common sense isn't really all that common, so many good ideas we hear about farming are applicable practically in other contexts. Keep up the good work. We love you all.❤

You should fly to Toronto and get your hernia repaired at the famous Schouldice Hospital. That’s all they do, no mesh just lots of overlapping and stitching. You climb off the table and walk back to your room. You stay there for a week and return to work. Various members of my family have had hernias repaired there over the years. It’s the absolute best.

A kangaroo starts out as an egg like any other mammal. It is fertilized in the usual way. It then makes its way into the uterus where it embeds and is born 28 days later. The fetus is the size of a jellybean that has to make its way up from the cloaca at the base of the mother’s tail all the way into the pouch, to the teat where it continues to grow.

A new born joey (baby Kangaroo) is born very small, blind and crawls from the birth canal through the mother's fur to the pouch and attaches itself to the nipple inside, where it stays until it grows big enough to come out of the pouch. The mother licks a path in her fur to help the baby, but can't do anything else to help it into the pouch. The word kangaroo derives from the Australian Aboriginal language Guugu Yimidhirr word gangurru , referring to a grey kangaroo.

In the United States, we have subsidies for farmers because during the 1930's we had The Great Dust Bowl, when poor farming practices caused a drought and then all the soil in most states literally blew away. Farmers were starving, literally, and had to move away with nothing to other states that had water. So farmers left the farms, and that followed with food insecurity for everyone.

kangaroo (n.) "large marsupial mammal of Australia," 1770, used by Capt. Cook and botanist Joseph Banks (who first reported the species to Europeans), supposedly representing a native word from northeast Queensland, Australia, but often said to be unknown now in any native language. However, according to Australian linguist R.M.W. Dixon ("The Languages of Australia," Cambridge, 1980), the word probably is from Guugu Yimidhirr (Endeavour River-area Aboriginal language) /gaNurru/ "large black kangaroo." In 1898 the pioneer ethnologist W.E. Roth wrote a letter to the Australasian pointing out that gang-oo-roo did mean 'kangaroo' in Guugu Yimidhirr, but this newspaper correspondence went unnoticed by lexicographers. Finally the observations of Cook and Roth were confirmed when in 1972 the anthropologist John Haviland began intensive study of Guugu Yimidhirr and again recorded /gaNurru/. I prefer Cammy’s version. 😅
