It's just funny coming from the rebellious generation of the boomers. Boomers rebelling against the greatest generation creating the children that are the adults they currently complaining about. 0 reflection. 0 self awareness. I enjoy Phil though. He's what that generation should have been.

@@ellencox8415 I think it's mostly the gen x generation that become the pansy parents. Most of the boomers were still old school. But the gen xers are the ones that brought the millennials into this world. and now the millennials have all the cancel culture babies. I think the mistake that the boomers made was not teaching the gen xers how to be parents. But the boomers were on average that last generation of parents that believe in discipline.

Allen you're tasked with a hard job. Consider listening to this with your wife and pray together for guidance. I pray she has ears to hear, her heart softens,, and the scales removed from her eyes. May you both be given wisdom on how to raise spiritual warriors! The Bible says bring up a child in the way they're to go and when they are old they will not depart from it. Write scripture down and hang it up around the house. Stand on the word and be Bold in these times! I know it is not easy as the wicked one is running rapid. Stay grounded and dig into your church. Be strong in your faith! God has your family in His mighty hands. May God bless you!

Yep, totally agree! I am a gen X, and respect and discipline were physically taught when I just did not get it via verbal teaching. You name it, it was swatted across my backside and backs of my legs. I do not consider myself in a category of a child of physical abuse. It made me who I am today. I can exercise self discipline, and I still show respect to any elder I meet in my day to day life. When you see an older person's eyes light up when you say "Hello, sir/ma'am", is amazing. Many will just stop and talk for spell in the middle of the grocery store. I raised my son this way also, and he, while being *extremely* introverted, will, all on his own, ask an older person struggling to reach something on a top shelf in a store, if they need help, and if he can get it for them. To see a person's face light up when this young (20's) man helps them, and is respectful to them, melts my Momma heart. I made mistakes raising this young man, but I stressed respect, and held strong to discipline, and now all grown up I can look at him and know he turned out right, and I can stop worrying about that part of his life. 😊

Our children grew up in the 80s-90s. Went to church every Sunday. Chores Saturday morning before playing with friends outside on their bikes. Actual exercise! We didn’t have to spank our kids, but, if needed, we would. Not abuse. I’m not talking about FEAR. Parents who cause fear are wrong. Discipline can be just not allowing them to watch TV. It depends upon their age. Discipline according to age. You don’t spank a 10 year old. You take her free time. Discipline should be appropriate to age. Common sense. Dr Sandy that statement is so true & sad. One of my dearest friends, raised her 4 children. She wisely divorced the father of her older 3, he messed his life with drugs & alcohol, taking 2 of the kids down with him. My friend helped raise those 2 kids’ 5 children. All by different fathers. Now she’s in her 60’s & raising her great grandson. Cuz her daughter, doesn’t want either of them & her granddaughter knows she can’t do it Sad sad cases. The baby boy’s great grandparents are adopting him & the chance of them living to see him reach the age of 21, isn’t very good

To your point @dr Sandy, while this is the world we live in but we should be taking care of our elders. Not our elders raising their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everything in our world is backwards. And whats right is wrong and what's wrong is right! Our only hope is in Jesus who will come back and defeat the evil one!

Phil… i look back on how is was raised, and I thank god that my momma and daddy grew up in East Tennessee in the late twenties and thirties. They where the greatest generation. And they taught me and my siblings to obey them. Meaning, get up in the morning, do your chores, to do your part for the family. I am such a better person because of the expectations my parents instilled and expected of me.

Yes sir. Mr. Robertson is getting to the point, and won't bother to sugar coat it for any of us youngins. You can just look at his family. The proof of the TRUTH is right there for anyone to see. Children that mind their elders, and listen to their parents are a rare disappearing breed of humanity.

The truth!🙌🏽 My parents disciplined us & taught us the proper fear of God as children..most definitely respect our elders. Enforcing there are consequences to bad behavior... Back then prayer in school & paddling..one teacher would even "crack your knuckles" with a wooden pencil. The overwhelming..sin corruption & wickedness has increased over the years. God is setting all straight.. He said it would be in this end..it has to be His divine hand at this point. Suffering long with those refusing to repent. He is revealing All things & Babylon is surely falling.

Best video of the day! What scares me is people now believe that evil is good and good is evil. My parents were juvenile delinquents in the early 80's with fathers who were drunks. But even in that messed up situation if you had asked them how things should be they would have said respect family and those in authority. Now outside of Christian circles the idea of discipline, authority, to family and your community is an unknown and alien concepts. Even so come Lord Jesus!

5:28 - 1960 Was the first dispute over 10 Commandments being in the classroom, at that time, spit balls, chewing gum, and cutting in line were the usual mischief. 1970 Supreme Court vs Kentucky banned the 10 Commandments, then came sex, drugs, rape, abortion, etc... What happened ?

Every single thing said is 100% true. I just talked to my kids the other day and told them I'm not here to be their friend and let them do whatever they want. My job is to discipline and make sure they grow up to be a Christian, hard working, good parent when they're older. To many of their friends come from broken homes with no moral values.

The first reverence to the father comes for kids at home and the father of the household. Years ago my grandfather taught me that when it comes to kids, when you tell them to do something, that they do it right away, they do it all the way and they do it with a happy heart. Start it from day one and the happy heart part is much easier.

Hi Phil. I agree completely . It would be a better world, if a group of Elders ran things. There should be Elders on every continent, a group of say 12 Souls with life experience, teaching and sharing knowledge. Things are going to get really bad on this Earth. It's truly a sad time. And I said, when they took the Lord's prayer out of school, we're in trouble now. Love to the Robertson family, from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦🙏😥💙😇🙏

I was just thinking about this early this morning during my time with the Lord. No self control. No discipline. These are all traits of the last days Paul talks about. I can only teach my children to be different. It will be difficult for them so I am preparing them for that as well.
