I must add 1 more thing. I was addicted to meth for 22years. One day as I was sitting in the bathroom getting ready to go to work and about to light up another bowl. I cried out to God to take this horrible addiction from me. That was in October 2009 I have been clean and a new creation since. I Praise the Lord continually, why not try it, all you have to lose is your old nasty self.

I spent 23 years in a legalistic cult preaching,, knocking on doors, teaching Bible study to those in my community but was proclaiming a false gospel, 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 . But when I was at a very desperate point in my life He showed me who He really was and taught me the true Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-5. The Holy Spirit guided me through the New Testament it was undeniably a supernatural experience that I will never forget. I really enjoy your videos- funny thing when I was a Jehovahs Witness I would watch your show with my daughters because it was one of the wholesome shows on TV and I remember thinking how sincere your family was but completely deceived- Boy did Jesus show me ❤️🙏🏻

I'm so happy to hear that you came out of that,, I grew up in the Church of God Pentecostals, and with Jehovah's witnesses used to come to the door I'd invite them in give him coffee or sweet tea and we'd sit down and talk, I could never get one of them to confess that Jesus Christ is God and it always blew my mind that they were so blinded,, my friend let me tell you something if Jesus Christ revealed himself to you and showed you that he has god, like he has to me, you are saved woman 🙏❤️ and teach your former friends the truth

@@dansmithinc Yes they are completely blinded as was. The moment I understood that Jesus is God I knew I could be no part of it any longer. I wrote a letter to the elders renouncing my association with them. This led to me now being viewed as an apostate and therefore shunned by everyone in the church, including close friends and family so the possibility of sharing Jesus was impossible. A persons heart has to be ready like mine was, it’s in his hands 🙏🏻

They teach that Jesus was not God in the flesh but rather Michael the arch angel, the fist born of all creation, that only 144,000 will go to heaven there will be a great crowd that will get to live on earth after Jehovah destroys the wicked at Armageddon. Your salvation is not guaranteed but something you have to work for. From the beginning and throughout the decades they have made false prophecies regarding the end coming. Hi Phil you’re my favorite old guy. FYI. You remind me a lot of my dad growing up in the 80’s. He was hell on wheels;). I love him but still have a hard time with commandment of honoring thy father and mother. There was a lot of abuse, being the youngest of three sisters, the county put a restraining order on my dad... my sister who was fifteen months older committed suicide when I was twenty two and my other sister was in foster care for six years as a kid, I was house hopping as a kid. I love both my mom and dad and still deeply hurt from there behavior. I’m raising a beautiful teenage girl on my own now. How do you forgive and honor them? Can you touch on this subject if you have time. Ty

I understand your pain. I too, was raised by an abusive father. He died a few years ago and I’ve never shed a tear for him. I too, suffer guilt because I never honored him. I had a dad, granddad that way. Praying for them and seeing God's transformation in them, made me realise it was not them, but an evil spirit using them. I was Blessed to know they were forgiven. I forgave them too. They were not blood relatives, but they kept us alive. I glorify God for freeing them from their demons within.

Forgiving them doesn’t mean you are saying what they did was ok. We live in a broken world and they are broken just like we are. Hate the enemy, not them. You can still keep your boundaries, and forgive them knowing they were messed up from the fall at Eden just like we all were. Thank God for His forgiveness He gave you and try to offer that same love and forgiveness. Doesn’t mean you have to say it was ok or let them into your life. Forgiveness is a gift for your own heart, more so even than theirs. God bless. Also, Jesus is working on your heart daily. We’re forgiven by His blood only. Not by our ability to follow commandments and our ability to forgive. So don’t focus on that- focus on Jesus and His great love and that is what changes you. No condemnation in Christ Jesus. He will continue to change your heart the more you focus on Him.

Amen 🙏 my dad was an alcoholic when we were growing up I was so scared all the time he beat my mom so bad we woke up to blood all over the wall from mom been beaten he was a coal Miner he did work but when he came home he hit that whiskey I’m still cry today😢 God took my mother on my birthday years later and I just don’t know why I’ve been mad ever since😢😢 my dad died of cancer and I don’t have no tears for that but I do have tears for my mom I don’t wanna go to hell because I hate my dad😢😢
