Thanks so much for this wonderful playthrough! This is the most comprehensive explanation of LACORSA we have seen and we really enjoyed it. The analysis at the end is a nice touch. It's something we often do after each race to see how we could have earned a slightly better result. As you observed, with six cars in the game, qualifying is slightly more critical for a strong finish. Thanks again and happy racing!

I wish you guys played like 3 races at least because this game really starts to balance out strategy and luck over games. The first game I played of this was confusing but after 3 or so races the strategy clicked. If you don't have many high cards you might want to just get out in front in quali so you can extend away. If you have quite a few high cards you could then start middle to back and challenge. I don't normally like high luck games but this one with the strategy of just dealing with the cards you're dealt and trying to find a strategy for each race because they are different each race. Still loved the video, thanks for the game nights over the years!

We do occasionally like to have a shorter video to balance out our 2.5-hour Dune Imperiums! But you are right, this is a game you probably want to play a few times (or the whole "Grand Prix season" as discussed) to get a feel for each position in the race and what you can do with strong/middling/weak hands from there.

This game has a bit much luck reliance for my taste, but I really enjoyed the video, wish it was longer but it's how the game played out 😁❤

Looks like it is really hard work to catch up if you are placed at the back. And cars in the middle seem to be constantly using/wasting cards simply to stay in their own position. Struggling to get my head around that aspect too.

I adore that you folks played a small, independent publisher's game, good on ya, bbg. On the game itself, it would be interesting to see AI play and/or extensive bga play to see if it was "broken" at certain player counts, or not |:)

Okay, so clearly qualifying is incredibly important with 6 cars. I wonder if the game would be broken with all 6 cars using 10s & 11s for qualifying... Hopefully not. Also, wouldn't it better if a tie favoured the car behind (thematically, the slipstream too).

A good game to play with the kids, but not enough depth for my taste, personally. Add a deck building mechanic, then I could see myself playing, maybe.
