If you follow the channel for a while you will notice him everywhere. He is so skilled, hard working and resourceful he is kind of guy who can find a solution for everything and improvisation is a second nature. I admire this kind of people.

about 6 years ago I was going to do this with a 1997 ford escort, using a 305 chevy... was going to have the engine so far back in the fire wall that 4 of the 8 cylinders would be under the dash. but the floor of the car is so rusty that it would need a full cage installed for structural support, 305ci chevy does fine in a 6000lb truck, lolz @ 1900lb car.
@thefreedomguyuk3 жыл бұрын
Why use a rusty vehicle as a base car for a project ? And the engine would happily live in the engine bay, you just fit the radiator in the trunk. You'd only have a bit of the gearbox under the dash.
@bitelaserkhalif3 жыл бұрын
For me, if it turns out to be rusty, I'll get another car and graft the entire underpinnings to rusty body

Project idea... see if you can change the firing order of an engine, that might be neat. Like modify a cam etc.
@jjohnston943 жыл бұрын
That's been done, in a way. You can use a cam for a 289/302 Ford in a 351 Windsor (different firing order) and vice versa.

It has? Eh bummer.

Ohhh, I thought you were going to put the FWD drivetrain in the back. You guys come up with some crazy stuff but I think you really could have picked a nice body for this build. Soon I will have videos of adding a FWD drive train the the rear of a car that still has it's FWD in place also. Twin engine AWD. : ) It's is going to be fun

One of my favorite channels...Always doing something unthinkably awesome. It's like hackery but skilled hackery at it's best. Mistakes and all, nothing hidden or "churched up" for the videos. I like to think about what you guys could build if you had time and endless resources. Something like a show quality supercar with 10 seats or something so the whole crew can go road racing or 200 mph at the same time. Thanks for the fun!! Aloha.

You guys should hook up four brake masters directly to each corner of the car's brakes and operate them with a lever mounted to a ball at the bottom, simulating a joystick. Space the masters (or even use clutch masters, no need for a tandem piston setup) out in an X arrangement. Use the brakes to steer. Hook up the throttle to the steering wheel. Organize a race with your crewmen.
