As a motorcyclists who has ridden on numerous high passes in North India, the truckers and bus drivers deserve nothing short of respect for braving against the terrain and weather day in day out ferrying thousands of lives and precious cargo to safety. This series is very well done. We are lucky to see it. On the very final item it is not an easy decision - the monastery agrees to be sponsored by tourism and in return tourists can attend. In the UK we have entrance chargesfor those who are not paying to some of biggest cathedrals but very strict rules during services about what you may or may not do which seems to work quite well.

I am not an Indian but based on research , fact is many Educational Institutes and other Government Organizations are set up there in last few years. Development is a year long process and does happen in a year . So what was the contribution of earlier Governments. On record, it's written , After China War in 1962, Then PM of India Nehru said in parliament, even grasses does not grow in Ladakh. That's how he underestimated this beautiful land.
