I've often sat at home or at work thinking about other people around the world going about their daily lives and often wondering if at that very moment someone was sat in a rented warehouse planning a heist or the likes. You said about a warehouse heist.. Taking it out of context slightly.. I used to work in a warehouse (I wont name it) but someone was arrested because they were caught stealing pallets on a night shift in a van.. Nobody suspected anything because the person who was in charge of that shift planned it.. They only got arrested because allocated pallets had gone missing (not just moved).. Security at that warehouse was dreadful anyway.. It was one of the workers that raised suspicion!..

Only 2 of 10 were ever caught... That's some kind of professionalism right there! This guy would've been a great special forces operator or maybe an intelligence guy. The mental fortitude of maintaining your cool while under that kind of pressure is impressive, not to mention the fact that most normal people would come down with a severe case of spontaneous IBS! 🤣💩 I know there's going to be one of those 8 men reading these comments, no doubt in my mind that you're reading... It's ironic that to many layers of security become a security vulnerability!? So we'll protected that it causes everyone to drop their guard.

I was made homeless at 13 and was in and out of care. It's crazy how much it messes you up. Everyone I was in care with is either in prison, dead, or on the streets still. I'm the only care leaver I've personally met who managed to escape the system and build a life. The system needs tearing up and rebuilding from the ground tbh.

It did for me. ☺️ I turned 30 this year so almost half my life ago now. Only feel like I've just made it though if that makes sense. I raised my little ones started a business from my garage. I had no qualifications but this year ended up with my business on TV and now making a living somehow when I thought I was never going to make anything of myself. Happy to see comments from other people doing well after leaving care. 🙌🏻

@@blindmown Glad you're doing well for yourself. That's what it's like for me I don't think I know anyone that hasn't gone down those paths after leaving care. The statistics aren't great. The odds are stacked against you. I honestly don't get how it was even legal to leave a children's home at 16 and live 'independently' and get an education and work 😂 I'm hoping things have changed by now. I just look back and think wow that was wild. 🤣

I had to comment on this!! What a fantastic well spoken story.. the fact of the thought and the determination here is crazy. It was classed as impossible, but you made it possible. Nobody injured, only 2 people caught, nothing recovered. I mean this heist will forever go down in history. I’m glad I found this story being told by the man himself. Fascinating. I would say beautiful job and well done. As now I’m not longer a criminal myself or interact in criminality I shouldn’t congratulate you on a fine job. But this will forever be classed as the greatest heist in British history. What a brilliant insight. Take care and be safe.

You can just tell that, if this guy had taken another path in life he probably would've still achieved something impressive. He seems very intelligent and calm under pressure and, even though he as a criminal, he seems to have principles (such as not grassing up his colleagues).

Could you ask more questions about the circumstances that led there? My team was proficient professional and highly motivated , they had years of experience and were able to operate under extreme conditions, men who were able to overcome their darkest fears of fight or flight, Which, as you know, is a very rare commodity within the criminal underworld. The sad part of his legendary heist is that it was illegally commissioned by a American and British banking syndicate to retrieve their digital data from a telecom company. Tel was partly used by the establishment to do its dirty works and left him and his criminal associates racked with guilt.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m not comparing these actions to yours on a moral level or anything like that. It’s the lack of fear or more accurately, the ability to overcome your fear to do something you know could get you killed or locked up for life that I’m talking about.
