Thank you so much for posting this!! I got a cute pillow from Target....With a big hole in it! I took it back and they didn't have any more so I decided I'd try my hand at sewing...for the first time. I repeated this process twice just incase I didn't do it right the first time. Only time and two bouncy kids will tell if I did it right! :) Once again thanks!

Thank you for the tutorial, looking at the stiches i probably won't end up as a surgeon but Puppy and Puffy are nice and plump again now that i was able to change their stuffing. (my greatest sewing achievement was a button so far so this is a big step for me okay, don't judge)

@nall29 Looks like the baseball stitch leaves a visible stitching on the outside which makes kind of a herringbone pattern of stitches. The Henson stitch (named for Jim Henson puppet making) seems to be a more dense stitch which is super strong and used on fleecy or furry fabrics to hide the seam so the puppets look smoother on camera. hope that helps!
