You have proven far more helpful with this one video than numerous sites claiming to teach an invisible stitch. This was my third time attempting to create a pillow and I was finally successful. Thank you

This was a great demonstration. I have been a professional seamstress since i finished Uni & performed a version of this stitch before, however, watched this with my high schooler as she has to do ladder stitch at school tomorrow in her sewing class. We've not got it totally covered, thanks!! Love Posie

I never comment on here, but this was really outstanding. I have been frustrated for years finishing lined projects and since I taught myself to sew out of books I had never even heard of this until a couple of weeks ago. You did a great job. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and expertise!

Thank you so much for posting this!! I got a cute pillow from Target....With a big hole in it! I took it back and they didn't have any more so I decided I'd try my hand at sewing...for the first time. I repeated this process twice just incase I didn't do it right the first time. Only time and two bouncy kids will tell if I did it right! :) Once again thanks!

You have THE BEST tutorial on a ladder stitch that I have ever seen! I highly recommend your video to others, and I especially appreciate that you used two different colored fabrics in your demonstration. The camera angle is PERFECT! I shared your video with a sewing class, and everyone was very complimentary. MANY thanks!

Thank you for the tutorial, looking at the stiches i probably won't end up as a surgeon but Puppy and Puffy are nice and plump again now that i was able to change their stuffing. (my greatest sewing achievement was a button so far so this is a big step for me okay, don't judge)

@nall29 Looks like the baseball stitch leaves a visible stitching on the outside which makes kind of a herringbone pattern of stitches. The Henson stitch (named for Jim Henson puppet making) seems to be a more dense stitch which is super strong and used on fleecy or furry fabrics to hide the seam so the puppets look smoother on camera. hope that helps!
