Yes!!!! I had to convince my in-laws to start locking the door during the day. They legit did the “it won’t happen to us” card. My husband went and showed them a video of a guy from our city IN DAYLIGHT with a machete going around and trying to open peoples doors to get them to realize it doesn’t matter where we live it can happen to anyone at anytime. I grew up with a single mama. She taught me ALWAYS BE DILIGENT. Always look behind you every 10 seconds when walking alone no matter the time of day. Don’t listen to music so loud you can’t hear what’s happening and/or only use one headphone in your ear preferably. When I would get home from school alone as a young teen, I would grab this thick metal umbrella and check my house to make sure I was safe. I remember my mom showing me information about trafficking statistics in my country and while it was scary it’s IMPORTANT for women to know that we got to not let our guard down. It would be great if we didn’t have to live like that but the reality is we have to.

Back story, he was in her yard earlier, a neighbor saw him. Thought he was a yard guy. When she went inside, he came to the door and put on gloves but her door bell started recording him. The police put the video out and HIS MOM reported him. He went to jail for attempted robbery. This was on neighborhood wars. He lived in her neighborhood. A teen boy.

I’m a single parent and I live alone with my 3 children I remember one night a few years back it was about 8:30 or 9 @ night I get a knock on the door I wasn’t expecting anyone I looked out the peephole it was a man that I didn’t know I slowly backed away from the door I told my children to be quiet in a low tone and I NEVER did open the door apparently he had been watching me come and go with my children.Before you open the door make sure you look to see who it is before you open it now days we have all sorts of technology where we can see who’s at the door and who comes and goes I just have a peephole but I always manage to look out before I open the door.# Be Safe and aware even in your home.people be 👀 to see who their next victim will be but it won’t be my children or me

My neighbors are Career Predators & work with units or multiple teams of Predators. They initially were nice started asking my kids for favors. I received multiple invites for my kids to use their pool & jacuzzi. They were always looking for ways to allure us into their house.Then I noticed the multiple trespassing, peeping into our windows at night, unlocking our doors with a master key. They also have a tool they can use from a distance to vibrate your door locks open & they can unlock any car door. Which makes gaslighting easy for them to steal your items or leave items that don't belong to you. Then I realized that they were Career Predators that premeditated what families to target. Then someone told me to look up Child / Human Trafficking, "Organize Stalking" & "Community Stalking". I had no idea this stuff existed in every Community! Also learned that Child Trafficking is a multi billion dollar industry that's international. Another reason why we desperately need God to intervene! To stop this abuse, protect the kids & rescue all of the babies & children who have been abducted. 💔 If they only knew what God's Kingdom Govt will soon do for those currently obeying Jesus. They would invest & make an effort to gain God's approval & the reward of a perfect life of longevity, for them & their families. So true. When we first moved in, my husband used to leave the door unlock when he went around the corner in the hallway to throw out the garbage. Our door was in a U shape next to 3 other doors. Since he never listened I would lock the door behind him and he would spend some time ringing the bell until I was satisfied to open it. He got the message after a few times.

I spoke I started to go back to the elevator. Went inside locked my door. Five minutes later there was a knock on my door. It was the guy my dog started barking he left. I had a sister that was hypervigilant about locking doors and I used to think she was crazy. I lost her not long ago, God rest her soul. Her training got into my psyche & I now make it a point to immediately secure my door, also making sure every window in my home is locked Before lastly arming my security system for the night

I'm 62 and someone knocked on my door the other evening at 10.30 pm. Luckily, I have a light outside. I would never open the door at that time of night. I could see he was a man in his 50s who I didn't recognise. I just screamed and swore at him and it seemed to drive him away. I worry that some men become aware if a woman is living on her own. If you keep the door closed and act aggressively, they realise you are too much trouble and go. Never open the door after dark though and get a spy hole put in the door so you don't have to open it.

Yes, on Friday. I was in athletic field, I thought because it was before 5pm. I was safe. Was sitting on the bench before walking to my car. All of a sudden a man in pitch black tinted windows seen me, and stopped his car across from me. It was just me on a bench and him in his car watching me. I couldn’t see in his car, since the window was black tinted. I was trying to figure out how I can get to my car. He wasn’t moving, he knew I had no where to run. I didn’t know what he was planning on doing. Thank God, a sweet elderly woman came by. She stopped and asked was that my car. I said no, he is watching me and will not leave. He was blocking the lady and STILL did not move. She told me she couldn’t see in the window either. I asked her could she keep him blocked, so I can run to my car. She blocked him, so I could get to my car. He STILL did not move, I don’t know what his intentions were. I KNEW they were NO good. It’s illegal to drink totally black tinted window. He stopped as soon as he seen me alone. Where he stopped is NOT a parking lot. He did NOT move, he was in that car waiting and watching. Thank God, that lady came. I am a CC and didn’t carry. Now I WILL carry and not be in places were people are not around. Daytime and nighttime man nothing now.
