The Lady speaker @ 5:40 had a very valid point. Stopping people from actively breaking the law is one thing, but setting up infrastructure designed to alleviate the root cause of the problem would probably prove a more successful long term solution, at least in the case of the parks, stores/banks, and chronic traffic areas. How that is achieved is up to the circumstance, maybe shut down the bank until they properly address the dangerous design of the front entrance and how it allows for easy misinterpretation of a car entrance/parking lot. Have them design a lot that is both safe for pedestrians and drivers, until then they cannot operate their business. That might be an extreme example, but updated infrastructure seems like the next logical step

This is a good example of how fragile civility is, and people say we shouldn't need police. Yeah I'd rather have some bad apples than have no laws and watch how easily everything turns to shit. People would do what ever they want and it's obvious by these people using the excuse "well there's no sign to say this is wrong". Like oh, okay so ill come park on your front lawn in front of your door and be like "there's no sign that says I can't!"

If the city had a bylaw where driving on the sidewalk was a 3000 American dollar fine and parking was a 1000 american dollar fine and as soon as they got a parking ticket the tow trucks could tow .... well just think how much money the city could make to fix all these problems

Those sidewalks are huge! It can easily fit both cars and people. They just need to build or paint marked lines for pedestrians so they can walk safely and cars can go in and out

"... do you want me to have a miscarriage...?" Um. Lady. There are women that work physical labor for a living that do so through pregnancy. Go home, you're drunk.

Honestly i understand the confusion of some people that there are so many cars parked that I would assume so as well. But when they argue that's a no no.

You seem like the kind of person who would say "if you see someone jumping off a cliff would you jump as well?" so there is no point in further talking with you
