Tokyo, JAPAN - 2000/2001 Grand Prix Final, Figure Skating, Ladies' Event: Round 1 is the Short Program. Round 2 is the Free Skating. Round 3, aka Super Final, has the Top 2 ladies skate another Free Skate, and the winner gets the Gold. The other gets the Silver. Then, the 3rd and 4th Place ladies skate another Free Skate, and the winner gets the Bronze medal. Commentators were Terry Gannon, Peggy Fleming, and Peter Carruthers.

I’m not a Sarah Hughes naysayer. I’ve always thought her Olympic win was one of the most glorious feats in skating history. But every single jump in this long program was WAY under-rotated. Yikes.
