LOVE LOVE LOVE my Ladies First Chicken door. I had a small issue...due to dirt in the track and Matt at Ladies first quickly answered my question and we solved the issue. Great customer service and wonderful product..have had mine for a year now and doing great.

I received and installed my ladies first chicken door today. Was very easy to install, less than 10 minutes. but you are right,,, it took a month and a half to get the door shipped to me. So far I’m happy with it,,, will see what time it close tonight. Good video

I can't remember when I changed the batteries last.. I know they were in there all winter and are still going

Yeah I was just impressed by how cold it got here and those batteries are still going. I really like ours and a guy I work with bought one and he likes his too 👍

Yes it is controlled by the light at dawn and dusk. And no after seeing how late it finally closed last night, our chickens are always inside way before it shuts 👍👍🐓

I installed this door last week. Since then, my chickens won't go in the coop at night. They roost on an outside roost. They will go in and out of the coop during the day. Does anyone have any idea why and what I can do to help them?

I have read where some people put a light inside the coop at night and that draws them inside

I have two of these. One closes and stays shut, myu other one closes, then olpens lik2 or 3 times farther than yours, then closes m, then opens, and then closes completely . Very weird.

That is weird.. I can honestly say ours has worked perfectly since we got it.. I'm actually going to quit using it here soon til spring comes and use my manual door all winter. Don't want anything to happen to it because we love it!

Hey there! I too have the door and love it, but I have a problem with the opening time being to early. I followed the instructions about removing the battery and pressing the buttons, but for some reason I cannot get it to work. I am curious if you experimented with the delayed opening? I have emailed the manufacturer, but no response. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Todd! Yeah the owner is hard to get ahold of. I thought you were supposed to leave the batteries in and press the button at the time of morning that you want it to open. Hope this helps!

Yes sir.. that's why I'm interested to see how well the factory settings are set.If it's too early I'll go out at dark and set it to close then because our chickens are always in way before dark 👍👍
