After the light fell the first time I was watching it nervously and could see it moving lower as you talked. Was not completely surprised when it took another plunge. Glad no spiders were harmed! But the crack in the glass must be annoying!

You know what would be awesome in that habitat? Succulent cactus! Live succulents would be so pretty and would bring some green to the view. Also, they need very little water and the light that you provide would support them.

I recommend getting hold of a Manfrotto 2 section arm to mount your lighting on, I've been using one with my DSLR for over 3 years now and it is sturdy as a rock, has never fallen over.

Our Vagans is dramatic and super moody (definitely not for handling).. our Rosea is the sweetest and regularly climbs out the enclosure to have hand climbing exercise then happily goes back home until next time ❤️

My Vagans was .25 inches when I got it, it is now 3 inches in size full stretched leg to leg. I now have 4 tarantulas and I got into the hobby because of your videos. The four species I have now are: avicularia avicularia - my first tarantula acanthoscurria geniculata - my third tarantula brachypelma vagans - my second tarantula Chilobrachys paviei - my fourth tarantula My Vagans was very docile up until recently, she has some size now and whenever there is a disturbance from a cricket or me trying to fish her out she immediately goes into a threat posture, or lunges and tries getting a snack.

I was thinking, instead of taxidermy and preserving in liquid, have you thought of preserving in resin? That would make the specimen extremely durable and still have a life like pose. Especially with your 'peeds. Richard fink has a great video about how to do it. Also, I have a medium case of arachnophobia. I still love to watch your videos. I’ve also briefly considered keeping a tarantula. Briefly…. Keep up the great work, you’re educating people one episode at a time and changing minds about spiders.
