Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

You were right bout Edsilia. The documentary that was made told the story that Edsilia’s voice was gone just a couple of days before the concert from a severe cold . She recovered just enough to sing at the concert but you can hear a bit of hoarseness in the higher regions of her voice. Great reaction, yet again!!

Actualy they were all great singers, but they are "almost" all family and married to eachoters brother lol. And then they came to getier as a groot, but they are al solo artist who once in a while come together.

They are all such power houses. My favourite actually ended up being the one who's voice wasn't in good condition. It made her end up singing with more soul and emotion, and I loved the raspy tone anyway.

Wish that you could see concerts from the Ladies of Soul and also from O'G3NE here in the Netherlands, maybe after all the Corona.. if you want and can ofcourse! Are you going to watch the concert from O'G3NE this coming sunday by the way? I know that the timedifference is 6 hours with Phillipines.. then your time it starts at 1:00 am, 1 hour after midnight from sunday to monday.. but you need a ticket.. (not much btw)
