Another way to get the first numbers round is: 9 + 4 = 13 7 + 3 = 10 13 x 10 x 6 = 780 780 + 75 = 855 And another couple of basic solutions for the second round are: 50 x 10 = 500 7 x 3 = 21 500 - 21 = 479 75 - 50 = 25 10 + 9 = 19 25 x 19 = 475 7 - 3 = 4 475 + 4 = 479 The third numbers round was too easy to bother with. In the fourth round, the only meaningfully different alternative is this: 100 x 2 = 200 200 - 3 = 197 75 + 50 = 125 125 / 25 = 5 197 x 5 = 985

I overthink these things. 479: 75x7=525, 525-50=475, 10-9=1, 1+3=4, 475+4=479.

There was a far simpler solution to the last numbers game based on 197 x 5 = 985 without needing to go up into the thousands.
