I’m so stupid. In the first one I couldn’t believe he hadn’t had the sense to add one of the 1s in earlier to multiply by 6 for a total of 487, but I hadn’t had the sense to split the 6 and add them both in earlier. I realized as soon as Rachel said it was a variation of his, but still.

75-5=70 3*2+1=7 70*7=490- the second 1 489 (I was out of time) 10+3=13*25=325+6=331

Missed the first one. I did 75+5+1=81 3×2=6 6×81=486 486+1+1=488 Got the second one, 826, just like the contestant. Got the third one differently: I did 50+3=53 53×8=424 7-4=3 424+3=427 Got the last number, 331, the same way as Rachel did.

In the first numbers round, I saw Rachel's solution and also had this one: 75 - 5 = 70 3 x 2 = 6 6 + 1= 7 70 x 7 = 490 490 - 1 = 489 I think that might be it for viable solutions. The two 1's generally limits how many solutions there are. In the second round, I saw Michael's solution and also had these: 25 x 7 = 175 175 - 10 = 165 165 x 5 = 825 825 + 1 = 826 25 - 1 = 24 24 x 5 = 120 120 - 2 = 118 118 x 7 = 826 25 + 2 = 27 5 - 1 = 4 27 x 4 = 108 108 + 10 = 118 118 x 7 = 826 In the third round, I also saw Michael's solution, but also had these: 50 - 7 = 43 43 x 10 = 430 430 - 3 = 427 50 + 8 + 3 = 61 (or 50 + 10 + 4 - 3) 61 x 7 = 427 50 + 3 = 53 53 x 8 = 424 7 - 4 = 3 (or 10 - 7) 424 + 3 = 427 50 + 10 = 60 60 x 7 = 420 420 + 4 + 3 = 427 In the final numbers round, I saw Rachel's solution and also had these alternatives: 10 + 3 = 13 25 x 13 = 325 325 + 6 = 331 25 x 3 = 75 75 + 6 = 81 81 x 4 = 324 324 + 7 = 331 10 + 7 = 17 17 x 6 x 3 = 306 306 + 25 = 331

489 based on 7*7=49 75-5=70 (3*2)+1=7 70*7=490 490-1=489 Didn’t do it in the time because initially made my seven with 5+2 and my 5 with 3+1+1. So I was stuck on 490
@Gator11srq7 күн бұрын
For non-prime numbers, I try to find the target as a product of primes. So 489 is 3*163, and I found the 163 (most won't). Doesn't work every time. BTW, I do all 4 on ALL of these. If I don't have a post, one is coming. As of this post, I've done Series 88 & 90

One way to get to 489: 75 - 5 = 70 (3x2)+1= 7 70 x 7 = 490 490 - 1 = 489
One way to get to 826 using all the numbers: 10 - 2 = 8 8 x 5 = 40 40 - 7 = 33 33 x 25 = 825 825 + 1 = 826
