So I finally tried this out yesterday - and big success! I usually don't know what to with my hair but this is a great idea and it's quite easy if you are not left-handed on both of your hands! Thank you, it's brilliant :)

Thank you! Maybe you could try the four sections with only one braid? Or do two sections? Top and bottom, with one braid each and shape them into the "o?" Another thought is trying Torrinpaige's hair taping? It might hold up a little better, especially if your hair is longer and thicker then mine! Hope that helps some!

Sure! I bet normal elastics would be fine! Just tuck them under the braids when you're finished pinning it up and I'm sure it would work out. You're so lucky to go to a ball!

Well I wore this for six hours that day, and by the end up it I did want to take them out. I think a way of avoiding this is maybe using ribbon and do what Torrinpaige does - the hair taping. I actually think I may try it that way myself! But for awhile the pins weren't so bad!
