I have seen hundreds of tutorials on the internet over the years, for make-up, hair, etc, but i swear you are the best human out there. It's amazing how well you can do your hair and i really appreciate the effort you put into this, wasting so much time tutorialing for noobs like me. ^_^

My older brother thinks that we are related to Vikings since our roots are in the most northern part of Ireland and we are built like them. I have soo much hair! I can never put it up cute or sexy. What's comforting is that it's not terribly inaccurate (a few of the things I've seen from the History Channel are, unfortunately), and it looks like they really put a lot of effort into the set and costumes! The actors do a great job as well! I'm so glad for you! I find that I can always look back on the past to find certain older values/traditions that are extinct in today's society.

That looks really great! I like the idea of knotting before braiding the two side pieces together. I will try this sometime, but I have lots of trouble doing tiny braids close to the scalp, so I may have to alter it a little. It looks really good on you! Thanks for the tutorial.

I've been thinking of doing a version of her hair! Pretty much the same idea of what you did, only the very top section shall be crimped and brushed out....volume and edgy waves! I've sorta been on a mohawk kick, have a few different hawky styles... so fun! Thanks for the style, love her!

Like this week they will show episode five I believe, and the next day, six is already up on the website even though it hasnt yet been on tv. You know I was just watching a documentary about the history of the sagas in Iceland and it was fascinating! I didn't realize that Icelandic people were such great orators and writers! Plus the shots of the landscape were absolutely stunning. I've now added it to the list of places I would love to visit! Wish I could go to a Vikings festival with you!

I hear ya! I have trouble with the small braids too! You know what you could do? Instead of doing two, try doing one on each side of your head! That might be a little easier to manage and if I remember correctly she does wear it like this sometimes!

That`s alot of work!!! can`t believe they use 2 wear there hair like that, so long ago, im a guy, and i really like braids in ladys hair, Lagertha is an amazing person, i use 2 have a stature of Lagertha BUT!!! i didn`t know at that time, who she was, with her sheild and sword, and sold her like 5 years ago!!! makes me sick now!!! can`t wait for part 2` it was an amazing show!!! with outstanding acting!!!
