Lady Elliot Island Day 2- Diving with Manta Rays, Snorkeling with Turtles, & Reef Walking!

Hey guys it’s Chase and Erin! Join us on our second day at Lady Elliot Island! Lady Elliot Island is located in Australia off the east coast of Queensland and is on the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Our day started early with a dive with 10 manta rays! It was an amazing experience just sitting on the bottom and watching all the manta rays swimming around and coming to the cleaning station! We continued our day in the water with a long snorkel in the lagoon, which was also amazing! We got to see an epaulette shark, sea turtles, reef squid, sea stars, and so many sea cucumbers. We finished up our day with a reef walk and we got to see a day octopus followed up by a sunset and a presentation by Project Manta. Our second day was absolutely amazing and we are so sad to be leaving the island the next day. We hope you enjoyed the video!
