This video is so haunting. The visuals in the beginning are so beautiful and artistic which is a true staple of Gaga. Then this scene, more than likely her body/minds way of protecting her, starts to crumble (as she’s screaming) and she awakens to the harsh reality of what happened. I agree that I think she was on the bike and got hit or swerved on her bike and the other guy crashed his car as well (dude slamming his head). I was shelled shocked at first but I’ve watched it a few times now and I enjoy it sooo much. Music videos are not dead. They are still fully alive and impactful

She was on the bike, If you notice she has a red bracelet on her foot all the time, referring to the accident, the one with the horse, the "Zorro" is death, and she follows him blindly until the doctors arrive and they start to save her. The one on the mummified ground is the person who died who appears at the end with the woman crying. The hieroglyphs that come out near the end, if you notice it's the scene of the accident. If you pick apart the lyrics of the song you’ll understand how she’s fighting with a mental illness that when it goes out of control can become harmful to her and everyone around her. “I didn’t have my pills” (she caused the accident) she feels like a danger to everyone else “my biggest enemy is me pop a 911” (a 911 call is what saved her life)

I actually started tearing up hearing Gaga screaming and crying. She’s digging in, getting messy and has come out of the other side with a true understanding of how her mental illness has affected her. I totally understand where this is coming from, 911 is one of my favorite songs on this album. Gaga and her team created a beautiful representation of her mind.

i believe she caused the accident. she said she didn’t take her meds so the voices in her head told her to drive her bike into traffic, hurting everyone involved including herself. that’s why she’s asking if anyone died and apologizing to the paramedics. the film before we see the ending is what goes on in her mind as she’s dying and being revived by the paramedics. every element from the accident shows up in her hallucinations.

Amazing video! It was inspired by the Armenian art film “the color of pomegranates” by Sergei Paradjanov from 1969. The movie is unusual and filled with a lot of pictures that representing the Armenian culture. Also, the scene of her flying tied with a rope is from the 1963 movie “8 1/2” by Federico Fellini, an Italian art film. All the symbols that you’ve seen are true. The thing is that everything that was happening in her mind was her making it look beautiful. If you’ll watch the cideo again you would see that she was literally creating the whole accident scene through her mind but in a more beautiful way. If that’s the water hose, paramedics, the nurse, and even the painting of the accident painted on the wall. It’s wonderful! I love it so much! Also, great reaction video, you guys! Gaga said she is on pain medication for her hip, so that is why it is called 911. She was addicted to the meds at one point. But now she does not take them because she gets addicted to them. So when her hip gets in pain from dancing or she does something to the muscle or something else, she has to get it massaged and different ways to make the pain go away

As a cinephile and a cinema student, I'll help you guys with something: the music videos are referencing two things in arthouse cinema: (1) the films of Sergey Parajanov, the great Armenian director (you could see two posters of his films at the minute 4.08 of the music video), "The Color of Pomegranates" (hence the pomegranates at the beginning of the video) and "Ashik Kerib", and (2) "El topo", a Mexican film directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky (see the reference at the minute 4.11 of the music video), it's a surrealistic film about a gunfighter embarking on a quest on a horse (hence the man on a horse at the beginning). Most of the imageries of the video are taken from those two references.

i think gaga is way more than most people think she is.... call me crazy but i think she is aware of more dimensions, more versions of reality... of so much more than we think we are as a person... combined with other things she does and things she has talked about in so many interviews i think she wants to tell us so much more than people realise... talking about not being a celebrity but this world viewing her as one... about not being seen as the person hat she really is... people (and especially celebrities) showing a fake happy life... i mean what do you think it means seeing her in a traumatic situation with a sign saying ''LG LIFE'S GOOD'' ? besides the brand, LG also stands for ''lady gaga'' i didnt know what ''patch the line'' meant but i just saw it means connecting two lines and what do we see towards the end... two versions of reality being connected... her dying and then being shoved into another reality in which she's wakes up from being dead for a second and being helpless, now being in a reality where not really being seen as who she really is and in which ''LG'' says that life is good (as she talked about being expected to do as a celebrity)

Well she is the reason of the accident, thats why she said sorry and she is so concerned if anyone died, she didn't take her medicine and end up hearing some voices (lyrics: I have heard enough of this voices) telling her to commit suicide and crashing into traffic is her suicide way(lyrics: almost like i have no choice), lyrics say alot in a situation, she has this mental health cobdition. And her music video, those are the thing she will probably see because those are the last thing she saw before she collapse. Like dreaming, we experience dream because of the thing we do before we go to sleep,
