This video is so haunting. The visuals in the beginning are so beautiful and artistic which is a true staple of Gaga. Then this scene, more than likely her body/minds way of protecting her, starts to crumble (as she’s screaming) and she awakens to the harsh reality of what happened. I agree that I think she was on the bike and got hit or swerved on her bike and the other guy crashed his car as well (dude slamming his head). I was shelled shocked at first but I’ve watched it a few times now and I enjoy it sooo much. Music videos are not dead. They are still fully alive and impactful

hahaha She left the cinema, after seeing the movie with the desert references. She was on the bike, If you notice she has a red bracelet on her foot all the time, referring to the accident, the one with the horse, the "Zorro" is death, and she follows him blindly until the doctors arrive and they start to save her. The one on the mummified ground is the person who died who appears at the end with the woman crying. The hieroglyphs that come out near the end, if you notice it's the scene of the accident. i believe she caused the accident. she said she didn’t take her meds so the voices in her head told her to drive her bike into traffic, hurting everyone involved including herself. that’s why she’s asking if anyone died and apologizing to the paramedics. the film before we see the ending is what goes on in her mind as she’s dying and being revived by the paramedics. every element from the accident shows up in her hallucinations.

Gaga said she is on pain medication for her hip, so that is why it is called 911. She was addicted to the meds at one point. But now she does not take them because she gets addicted to them. So when her hip gets in pain from dancing or she does something to the muscle or something else, she has to get it massaged and different ways to make the pain go away

As a cinephile and a cinema student, I'll help you guys with something: the music videos are referencing two things in arthouse cinema: (1) the films of Sergey Parajanov, the great Armenian director (you could see two posters of his films at the minute 4.08 of the music video), "The Color of Pomegranates" (hence the pomegranates at the beginning of the video) and "Ashik Kerib", and (2) "El topo", a Mexican film directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky (see the reference at the minute 4.11 of the music video), it's a surrealistic film about a gunfighter embarking on a quest on a horse (hence the man on a horse at the beginning). Most of the imageries of the video are taken from those two references.

The dream does explain her version of what happened, she remembers herself on the bicycle & getting into the accident that why her ankle is hurt and the guy who banged his head is most likely the one who caused the accident and death of the guy wrapped for burial cuz he's trying to repent slash reliving the accident, the people in blue are pedestrians the cop and doctor are helping her as you see her looking for vitals and him resisting her and even bring her back from dying as her soul floated away, and the masked men and horsemen are the cops directing traffic and the murial was her only part of her aware of the situation but still lost in the trama her mind wasn't sure, and some part of her seems like she felt responsible possible being the one who might have caused it by falling or not seeing the car they probably tried to avoid her and had caused the collision or just simply she had survivors remorse

i think gaga is way more than most people think she is.... call me crazy but i think she is aware of more dimensions, more versions of reality... of so much more than we think we are as a person... combined with other things she does and things she has talked about in so many interviews i think she wants to tell us so much more than people realise... talking about not being a celebrity but this world viewing her as one... about not being seen as the person hat she really is... people (and especially celebrities) showing a fake happy life... i mean what do you think it means seeing her in a traumatic situation with a sign saying ''LG LIFE'S GOOD'' ? besides the brand, LG also stands for ''lady gaga'' i didnt know what ''patch the line'' meant but i just saw it means connecting two lines and what do we see towards the end... two versions of reality being connected... her dying and then being shoved into another reality in which she's wakes up from being dead for a second and being helpless, now being in a reality where not really being seen as who she really is and in which ''LG'' says that life is good (as she talked about being expected to do as a celebrity)

My biggest enemy is me, pop a 911 is literally a metaphor for addiction. There’s a shot with her have an ankle bracelet and it looks like she caused an accident from being under the influence. The man slapping his head to the ground dies, you can see the paramedic women playing religious figure Virgin Mary in her illusion putting a blanket over him which is what they do when you die in the street. She also uses a mirror to reflect light on her face when she is floating in the air probably the flashlight being shined in her eyes to check pupil response and they bring her back to the ground and back to life.
