Lady Gaga live is insane. I had the opportunity to see her when she had her residency in Vegas, and… dude. She puts on a fantastic show.

Gaga has been a metal fan for years. In her first song Just Dance she references Poison, she has a song called Heavy Metal Lover. I saw the born this way ball and it was like a full on Rock show - blast beats , shredding guitars and everything about it was so Haunting, Gothic and Metal - although pop. She is incredible. As a metalhead myself i respect everything she has done. A great artist through and through and a boss business woman at that.

Here is the explanation of the videoclip: Each character represents her fears and darkness/inner demons and they are different versions of her representing different phases of her career (so, they are all the same person - Gaga). She’s struggles with them and every time she tries to escape it, it always leads her back. But she’s learned to handle it and live with her fear and darkness. The "monster" with the black dress is music and the essence of those demons, fame… everything that is GAGA, which she has tried to escape but never fully embraced. Now, she has made peace with it, embracing that darkness (the part where she and one of her fear/ inner demon are hugging in the video) in this new project, which will bring back the dark Gaga that her fans love, but healed and with a new vocal maturity. Her message to us is to embrace who we are, accept our inner demons, not run away from ourselves.

She is a beast in concert. This song is about Gaga embracing her inner demons. I've been a little monster since her first studio album and everything she writes and sings has meaning
@andrewpaul398219 сағат бұрын
The music video is about her running away from her traumas and past self and her inner demons/vices (the dark lady) but to finally accept that you can’t run and that the darkness will always be a part of you. The dark lady could also represents her matured confident self I guess you can say. She basically just accepts that part of herself, her darkness, which she can find comfort in now. Seeing that it’s another Gaga but more damaged and “diseased” she runs away to escape but the walls close in on her as she tries, but open up when she doesn’t try to escape.

You mentioned Trent Reznor...I would love for Lady Gaga and for him to team up on a movie soundtrack or something. Like when he did the Immigrant Song with Karen O, I want those vibes. It might be interesting for her to go full almost 80s Rock? Like she collabs with Billy Idol or maybe Joan Jett?

its really surprising that back in the day marilyn manson was on a remix of one of her songs (and an obvious influence on her stuff, specially earlier on) but never anything that im aware of with trent, considering he worked with halsey its not unlikely trent/nin would collab with another pop star like gaga - i'd loveee to see it

As a musician, my sound will always be Evanescence's. However, the dark pop that Lady Gaga practically invented is a gem. She is brilliant. Her voice is so powerful. She is a true musician. She is a great artist. I pitty those who don't quite understand her brilliantness. She is the last ultimate musician before this new basic and empty wannabes.

A little hint into this... each of those gagas, was her fighting against each era she has done. So the one pulling her off the car was ARTPOP. When she was on the car, it was her before the fame. 🤔 I don't know, Rick.🫷🏻 I just see an attempt to say: Chapel Rohan (or whatever her name is), you're not going to steal my madness and extravagance. Gaga should realize that she’s approaching 40, and that "behavior" sold when she was in her 20s. She should take advantage of the immense void left by Adele (who announced she’ll be taking a long break) and create more ballads like the one she did with Bruno Mars. Remember that among all the extravagance and madness proposed by Gaga, Rihanna, Perry, etc., Adele suddenly emerged with her 2011 album full of power ballads and completely overshadowed them all. Gaga should do the same; this extravagance is getting boring-let Chapel Rosanna have it. 🗿🚬
@letthatonemarinate16 сағат бұрын
The whole idea that women need to be more tame and subdued by a certain age is sexist nonsense. No one tells Jagger to change it up and be more like Sinatra. You don't have to like it, but other people do.
@synchronartcity591915 сағат бұрын
This is basically what her fans have been asking for her to do for years. Go back to her roots. So this one is for the fans. Chappell Roan said gaga gave her her cell number, so there's no animosity there and likely a collab in the future. Gaga will continue to do ballads. I'm sure there will be some in the new album. EVERY gaga album has ballads.
@Bascileo15 сағат бұрын
@@letthatonemarinateI never said women need to be tamed, that was you. And Jagger has always had that rock style. He is not dressing or acting like Marilyn Manson or Terrifier. This song of Gaga sounds like Judas or the other songs she released in 2011. And, there's also a little influence of Nine Inch Nails.
@pitay183613 сағат бұрын
There was no need in bringing up her age... No connection at all to what she should do with her career@@Bascileo
@pitay183612 сағат бұрын
Adele was also young when she released those ballad songs that according to you are what 40 year olds should do. Until now she's doing ballads and releasing what she wants to release and that freedom should be for all ages and for all artists. Basically, if you don't like it, leave it.
