I'm pretty sure that I've seen this before, a long time ago. But I vaguely remember it. She has definitely matured as a person and an artist. I love this interview because it demonstrates her ability to fight. She worked so hard and the reason why she was talking so fast was because she wanted to fit in all of the things that she wants to say, as well as DEFEND about herself. She knew people wouldn't take her seriously at first... but she fought so hard, and now the lie became the truth.

I think the reason she said that it was awesome was because of the fact her being dropped helped her become stronger. Which is pretty much the same thing in marry the night. Yes she had a mental break down (who wouldn't?) but she pulled herself out of that making herself stronger.

Listen folks. I'm the same age as Gaga. I relate to the difference between age 22 and 25 and the difference between being broke and having a successful career. The Gaga in this video is having fun but still finding herself, as was I at 22. A mere 3 years later she is more mature and that is evident in her personality, music, and looks. Her core values are still clearly there, just presented differently. Given the millions of dollars and fans, I think girl has stayed pretty DAMN grounded

Her voice has never changed. Its no secret she pretended to have a higher voice because it sold better back then. Now that she's famous she had no need to fake the baby voice so she dropped it.

@@JesusGomez-ob2qt While I do think she definitely ‘put on’ a persona (doesn’t she always tho), there’s a tangible and noticeable change in her voice quality from her pre-fame days and now. Some of it may indeed come down to her maturing as a woman and gaining confidence, but it’s also easily noticeable when listening to her records. Some people refuse to believe Gaga sings ‘Retro Dance Freak’ or ‘Summer Boy’ for instance. If you compare the vocals on those two with ‘Shallow’ it’s not difficult to see why.
