message I got - Be you and be kinder, and accept your feelings, live through them and overcome negativity. Spread positivity because being negative in today's cultures is cool ...don't be cool, be all you can be and a little positive attitude goes a long way - break the culture of negativity.

I was excelled by my college because I was suffering from depression and anxiety at the time and it was so bad I couldn't go to class , I remember when I talked to my professor about this she thought I made it up and that skipping class was something that I chose to do, I felt helpless and hopeless at the time and my college didn't offer me a break instead they just kicked me out . I still have so much regret that I wasn't given enough time or opportunities to finish my degree ... I just hope the system can be more elastic and empathetic for the future youngsters

Connie Lee Omgoodness, Connie, I was led to your comment. I can't believe this! It was like you reading and texting my journal... I swear, I have tears welling up. I try to think about that I am enough just being regular me, education doesn't MAKE YOU worthy or special or deserving of acceptance. I try to say, ok, maybe...just maybe I went through this to help another. .. maybe even though I'm sad, disappointed, a failure....there might be someone who reads our very comments here and it stops them from going over the edge. I know it brought a sense of peace, and a release...i hope, no, I believe we will figure it out and be so much better for it. ;)♡

"Why am I unhappy okay Stefani, Gaga, Hybrid person why are you unhappy why is it that you want to quit music a couple of years ago, I was like well I don't really like selling these like you know fragrances perfumes, I don't like uh wasting my days just shaking people's hands and smiling and taking selfis it feels shallow to my existence I have a lot more to offer than my image, I don't like being used to make people money, I uh feel sad when I uh I'm overworked and that I just become a money making machine and that my passion and my creativity take a back seat that makes me unhappy, so what did I do I started to say no, I'm not doing that, i don't want to do that, I'm not taking that picture, I'm not going to that event, I'm not standing by that cause that's not what I stand for and slowely but surely I remembered who I am and then you go and you look in the mirror and your like yes I can go to bed with you every night cause that person I know that person that person has balls that that person has integrity that person has an opinion that person doesn't say yes that person doesn't get a text from somebody and say oh my God the wrote this and they sent this emoji should I write this back what do you think is that ok to say are they gonna like me if I say that should I say something different this is the age that we live in we're not actually communicating with eacother we are unconsciously communicating lies I want to explode that today and break that with all of you as much as possible and um and...and that's where what I would say my long answer to that question is that I check in with myself throughout that day and I say do I really want to do this and if that answers no I don't do it and you shouldn't either."

Truth to power from the heart. What an inspirational exchange that speaks to where we are in 2018!! I feel Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's new movie A STAR IS BORN is moving so many people with her message for love, kindness, and the beauty that is the expression of Soul so many are hungry for. So many of us have lost loved ones to addiction, suicide and the tragedies of living not being seen or being able to be true to ourselves. I saw the movie a few days ago and came across this interview. WOW!! This is so right to the point of what is happening in our country. We need to cultivate empathy and kindness, and accountability of how the corporations are feeding off our cultures and our citizens for material gain. At the heart is consciousness and our own willingness to look deeper and be as she describes in the 25% of positivity and daring to be the actual humans that is our birthright. Yes what will the future look like? I hope we will cultivate more love and hold more authentic conversations and embrace all the diversity we are. Thank you Lady Gaga and your parents and Bradley Cooper for touching our Souls in this dark time. Here's to the BEAUTY and the LIGHT in the world and the courage to BE! I am grateful to the person who remastered this awesome Talk!!!!! CONNECTIONS 35 minute mark : kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYLHlHafi8dob8k

I admired her because of her honesty ... At least she accept her mistakes ... we are all born this way ... that way ... whatever way you call it people changed nobodys perfect . And how can you tell or give advice to others if you haven't gone through rough times in life ??? ... will you listen or take their advice? Me ? NO ! It's easy to judge others with their looks or their behavior ... But how about others who loves to judged 😄🙏😇 very Shallow isn't it ??? At least Stepani Germanatto , Lady Gaga is brave enough to stand by her beliefs ... to help our future generation, building a foundation like ( I was Born This Way) is not a joke . I give credit for her hard worked may you have the strenght to continue your good plans for the good of the whole country. God bless you ❤️️❤️️❤️️🙏😇🇨🇦🇵🇭

@C2G26 жыл бұрын
Exactly and the feeling of not showcasing your emotions in 2018 (going closer to 2020) is acceptable when it should not be because people need to know that there is power when you are kind, empathetic/sympathetic, and just caring towards others everyday. 😯😐😏
@donufro8 жыл бұрын
Everyone clapped when Lady Gaga said "standards for values" (38:55) and I appreciate her intentions. But unfortunately it's a little naive. Appealing to values is a trojan horse, because values are relative to everyone. Some people's values are based on their experience, religion, and level of self-interest. Most people ARE living by their own values, it's just that everyone's values are so different. Some people hold intolerant, racist, sexist and selfish ideas valuable. Should we ask them to live by their values? Err...well no...
@gillianlello73255 жыл бұрын
You can be kind to a racist, sexist etc, but u do not need to accept what they say or how they act. Anger breeds anger, basically. For an interesting way to look at it, there is video clip of young man, who picks up trash that other protestors keep throwing on the ground. Also videos where groups stand together, not aggressively, but just firmly against violent rioters in SA. This is how u change the world. Sharing in kindness and similar beliefs and not allowing negative and aggressive actions and words to affect the people they are aimed at.

#youdecide The past? That's your roots of who are... You grow stronger each day or grow weaker. It's all on you and how you decide to use your past for today... Then today for tomorrow. Did we learn from our past? What did we learn? How will we gain wisdom? Or will they remain ignorant of the past? History repeats the past... Do we evolve or do we continue to fall from lack of knowledge? To move forward with the wisdom gained is the lesson of yesterday 😉

basically what she is suggesting is that we should censor negative comments in the interests of general positivity, giving the establishment more control over what people can say.
@philippanuda8 жыл бұрын
Somehow that's what she said, although we know that's not what she means. In my opinion, I think we have to spread more positivity, enough to discourage people from posting negative things. How to do that, I'm not quite sure, but I hope we do get to do this once we know how.
