You’re right Marcos - as a white male american I recognize I recognize the African American community suffers way the most through poverty and it makes me so sad much of the time - however- Indian, white, Mexican, Asian, and many other races suffer too of course. We’re all Americans - black and white and Mexican , etc. we have to help people of all races as much as we can and give in my opinion a very good bit to help these poor people of all races, but particularly African Americans living in poverty or maybe even harsh poverty. I want to say one thing as I digress for a moment : I do not want to offend anybody here because I honestly do not see color and value all lives the same - I really do. I am not a supporter of defunding the police. No I definitely do not think ALL cops are angels because they’re not. Fact. However, they’re are MANY honest and decent cops of all races and sexes too. What happened to George Floyd was absolutely sad and horrible and a tragedy - it was!!!! And the officers at the scene, at least the main thug that held Floyd down, deserve life in prison or the death penalty. But they are going to prison. It’s not like justice wont be served in cases like this. I believe approximate 90 percent of cops are kind people that put their lives on the line for us every day and are heroes. Black officers and white officers, female officers, make officers, etc. but this is the main and final point I want to make - if we abolished or got rid of all police in this country - violent crime would skyrocket or be a hundred times worse and we won’t have 911 cop responders who come to the scene of violent crimes to protect citizens who don’t have guns on them. That’s all I’m saying - people can and should be able to agree to agree or agree to disagree on that point. Lady k is a kind human being and an EXTRAORDINARY singer.

I liked Katy’s and lady k’s versions equally. But lady k certainly made it her own. I would give her audition an eight and a half out of ten so very nice! What a brave sweet girl and I’m so sorry about her brother but hopefully she can WAY better support the rest of her family after her idol top 10 or so victory. Way to go girl.
