Marvelous Maeve posts another great performance. You totally nailed this...and did it without a piccolo trumpet for that solo. As I said in a previous post, this is an inspiration for all brass players!

I'm thinking about starting a music project with this song. Are you worried about copyright at all? The Beatles seem to be the most protected band on the internet (and the industry) when it comes to things like this.

KZbin kindly takes care of that as regards the rights to perform in this medium. Print licensing if one wants to publish a sheet music arrangement is more challenging. I'd recommend you investigate thoroughly and always respect the original authors rights.

That's very kind Martyn, I'm glad you enjoy the videos. Currently I play with a local big band (jazz is my first love) and a disco band (boogieloverband.com) which has been a fun style to explore. I gig with small jazz groups if someone calls for a trumpeter! Though over the years I have played in ensembles of all sorts - millitary band, concert band, orchestra, and of course brass quintet. Your photo shows you're a fellow brass player?

Yes, I currently play with Lancaster City Brass (UK) and with my local Salvation Army band. I'm not particularly good as I've not been playing long, but I am committed to getting to be the best player I can be! :-)

Where the tuba

Sadly I do not own a tuba so that part is played on my flugelhorn then dropped down 2 octaves using the software. A flugel is pretty much a small tuba so it sounds ok. 🙂
