Dear Robert...such an emotional young man. So charismatic, fierce and self-destructive. He burned the candle at both ends; living his life to the full.

ROBERT ADDIE was a great actor!! Loved his work on the small and large screen. We lost you far too young. I was only a boy rushing home from school to watch Robin Hood in the 1980s. I loved it! Happy memories. Please rest in peace Robert and I hope to meet you one day xxxx

I'm 60 now and as far as I'm concerned, all of the tv re runs shows now on ITV4 were excellent. From Robin of Sherwood, The Champions, The Professionals etc, they shaped many of our childhoods and teenage years. It was great that you had to wait a week for the next episode, so the anticipation built up, rather than the binge fest of todays shows. Robert was handsome and blond, my type of man. I always preferred him to Michael Praed but he did alright as my 2nd favourite. He was so young to die of that horrible disease, which also took my father. RIP Robert, gone but never forgotten❤

THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH FOR PUTTING THIS VIDEO UP LADY AISLINN!!! ❤❤ I found your channel a few months ago and this was my first Robert Addie/Gisburne video of yours and I guess my favourite, (which is hard and it's tied with the *Gisburne and women* one!). As I said I discovered you back one day in the Spring as I was thinking about how ROS celebrates its 40th Anniversary and feeling inspired I decided to start re- watching my ROS DVDs. About 10 or so minutes in, THERE HE WAS, MY LORD OF GISBURNE - ROBERT ADDIE! In 1984 I was 8 and that first scene with him in just blew me away, if his looks, armor, horse and authority weren't enough then he spoke with the most deeply sexy, posh velvety voice and that was it, I fell completely in love regardless of him being obviously team Norman - shameless!! I didn't care though I mean what's not to like? The more of ROS I watched over 1984/85/86 the more I/ we saw more of Gisburne's personality and more of his back story but a definate chivalrous, lovely side like in Alan A Dale or the Candle Dance from Herne's Son Part 1 the more I fell for both the Knight and the man playing him. Jumping back to Spring 2024 then I decided to find some more of Robert out and found your wonderfully crafted videos, of which I shall comment on them on their own videos. I have been watching all of them several times a day since the Spring as I just can't get enough, (sounds like a song!) of Robert/Gisburne yes, but it's more the way you've really paid a whole lot of attention on the clips you've chosen, where you've put the clips in, what music you've chosen, to slow some clips down a touch to allow the viewer to catch every ounce of that blonde God and where you've put the clips in relation to the music to maximize both Robert and Gisburne, which is really impressive and has been crafted with a love, care and reapect for this man. I really thank you most gratefully for a fantastic video that shows Robert/Gisburne to be the gorgeous shining Knight he was and what a breathtaking and expert horseman he was, how magnificent and masterful he looked in the saddle riding Fury. The clip from Lord of The Trees starting at 2:53 -2:59 that you've slowed down (thanks) apart from being a great piece of riding and definately makes Gisburne look very impressive, especially the pelvic thrust he does in the saddle, a small one followed by a much bigger one at 2:57-2:58 - where the music is bang on for it as well, I feel like it was no coincidence you slowed it down there!!! This is why it's taken months to comment of which I always intended, however for this first comment to this video I knew it had to be when I had the time to do your inspiring video justice and when it felt right to me. I promise my next comment won't be as long but still full of praise for you and for Robert as he was and still is very, very special. RIP Robert Addie, you are still loved and cherished and no nothing is ever forgotten!😊😊😍😍❤❤🔥🔥🔥🐎🗡⚔🏹🎶
