Japan can sometimes surprise you. :-) As they've been an island that wasn't well connected with the rest of the world, some of their unusual stuff will just blow our mind. At a more fundamental level I think in music Japan has less of a problem mixing different genres.

Haha, that was funny. As I understand it (I may be well out of course) Ladybaby were trying to cash in and cling to the Babymetal coat tails with their take on kawaii metal. The Australian wrestler eventually left and the two girls carried on as a duo for a while. I think one of them has left since and three new girls have joined one of the original ones and they are now doing OK (with their new music) still under the name Lady Baby.

Obviously Ladybaby was inspired by Babymetal, the theme of little girls and metal music. This group was created by a clothing company if I remember correctly for promotional purposes, obviously the weirder/the most impact the better. See you ! LOL :-)

This is the "old" Ladybaby. Ladybaby started out as a producer's project for some costume shop, the 2 girls and Ladybeard (the dude with the beard😁). Smash the boundaries. That's what LadyBaby is all about. Did you know that after leaving LadyBaby, LadyBeard joined with a Japanese female pro-wrestler and formed another band called Deadlift Lolita. This song is in English, but the video also has English subtitles, trust me, you will need them. Imagine if Disney had a metal theme park, Charamel would be the band playing there. Pops you are cruel!!!! Grammy looked like she was watching an exorcism!!! I was waiting for Pops to say " he looks good in that skirt, doesn't he?" The Japanese love their music productions and this is certainly one of them. I can't watch it as the screeching and growling is much too much. I can't believe you poor dog didn't go crazy with this sound. Hey copycat of Babymetal except this was for advertising clothing. The Japanese love to mix genres especially when they can also produce the finish product. I would love to see the wrestler in the ring dressed like that!!!!
