Hi Dee from Australia. Love the new gadgets. If you could be bothered, you could attach a thin curtain wire with hooks along the end of the cutting board to stop the second tray sliding out while driving. I have done this on my slide out cooking draw and it works really well.

I really like that cutting board & those lights. I’m using some landscaping solar lights for outside. Basically I have them aimed under my car to deter mice. I also ordered a device to put in the engine bay that has a sound frequency they don’t like & also has a strobing light. Plus peppermint spray. So far my engine is safe but can’t be too careful.

Ooo, got to get that fanny pack. I always keeps my car keys on me when I am camping. Love that this pack fits tightly and is not too bulky. I also like those tiny motions sensor lights. I have some big ones, but they take a lot of space and are solar so cannot charge when it is cloudy. Thanks for sharing.

Some great stuff/ideas. I already mainly use laceless shoes, but think I'll get 3pr of the black laces to try on my other shoes. I actually spent about 2 hours going through your entire list of stuff linked in the description, not just these 10. You're certainly one of the world's leading vanlife experts on bamboo products and compostable bags of various sizes for various purposes, shall we say. ;-) Some of the products were things I wouldn't have thought of shopping for, for myself. Now, some I am considering, but more importantly it gave me great gift ideas for my 35yo twin girls. They basically own everything they know they want, and don't want extraneous stuff as gifts. So it's always a trick to find them things they didn't know they want, but end up loving. How has the folding bamboo table held up? They have a longer one also, slightly different mechanical design, but both seem well thought out, and compact once packed up. While doing all that product research and saving thinks for later from my Amazon cart, I kept moving back to earlier points in your video before it finished, to get you some watch hours and ad views. There was an 8 minute Apple ad and other stuff probably causing about 20 minutes of ads watched. I ran it at 0.75x speed to keep from hitting the end of the video. Your voice is soothing at any speed, but slowed down, it makes you sound a bit tipsy! You've done a great job at finding useful, quality stuff. I greatly appreciate that your list of recommended products is not a cash grab looking to have people spend thousands of dollars on power stations, ebikes, and so forth. When I see something pricey that you recommend, I know you find the product to be worth it for yourself, such as the water bottle and the boots.

I appreciate that so much! Yes, I like bamboo for the look, durability, and knowledge that bamboo products are easier on the environment. The table is excellent-still going strong after more than three years. I chose the size I chose because it fits under my bed perfectly to store. It is important for me to not have extraneous items in the van, so I search and wait for exactly the right thing. And it’s true that the expensive things are items I know will last and are worth the investment. I do occasionally end up giving items away as well, especially if I am upgrading to something different or have not felt the need that I initially had for it. That way it doesn’t get out of hand storage wise. (But you’ll notice most of the items are tiny or miniaturized versions of things too😜) Thanks for your feedback. It’s very kind and helpful!!!

Awesome! They are great. The faucet looking thing is called a “fohm” dispenser. It has waterless soap foam. I haven’t decided if it’s worth it yet so have not reviewed it. 😊

I do love a good gadget, and you have some great ones! I discovered elastic shoe laces a while ago and had some for the shoes I wore daily. Since then I’ve switched to elastic-sided boots that I love, so o don’t have a need for them, but if I went to laced shoes again, I’d definitely get the elastic laces. This hiking boots look so good! It’s amazing how many shoes squash our toes up!

I think that is what they are made for. Your toes can splay and have a more natural open feel. They do have a chart on their website to map your foot measurement. I ordered a half size up also. Hope that helps.

Thank you for another great video. Altra has zero drop shoes with a wide toe box too. I backpack in the Lone Peaks and use the Paradigm for every day street shoes. Tie less shoelaces are a game changer especially when traveling. Xero's are really nice, I have a sandal that is really durable. I would have to try them on to get a proper fit in enclosed shoes though so I have not gotten any of their shoes yet. I love the motion sensor lights. Cool "gadgets", thanks for showing them to us. If needed, you can prefilter the water when filling the bottle, using a bandana or a drip coffee filter. It slows down the process quite a bit, but i useful to take out whatever particulate you don't want to mess up your water. It also ensure the UV light works better, less stuff to interfere with the light. If there's no way to lock the ON switch, i'd be concerned that it would turn on at random when packed, and drain the battery...

zero shoes are pretty wonderful , I’m on my 3rd pair actually got my last pair through their 5000 mile warranty lol .I’ve been wearing minimalist shoes so long I can’t wear regular shoes again .

I have a Grayl water bottle that I use to filter all my water. I’ve been getting all my water free from rest stops. All the ones in nm & Az seem to have free water pumps. The filters are good for about 150 liters. At 2 liters a day that gives me about 2.5 months. And I try to always have a spare filter.

Yes. They are good for walking in rocks and sticks. One of the reasons I wanted something a little more durable but still flexible.

Yes!! I usually do size up anyway. But I would recommend it here too. They have a measuring chart that you can print off for an accurate read also, if you have a way to do that.
