If one has not experienced the gruelling treatment and the what’s if’s one cannot make comment.. Some people have come from decent deep loving families NOT families with narcissistic parent, some no divorces in they’re families, some have deep love for husbands, wives and children, the thoughts of never living to see your children grow into stable loving adults, the thought of not seeing your beloved husband - comes out in Our Dear Princess Catherine’s family film . I for one am so relieved for her , Prince William, the children , her parents and siblings snd of course King Charles who thinks the absolute world of Catherine ❤🙏

There is room for contrary opinion. The video is not to everyone's taste. People are used to a more reserved, and more discreet, Royal Family, and do not generally expect to hear the royals' personal feelings, or to see their intimate family moments, so openly on display. Not everyone is from a generation that spends so much time expressing very intimate thoughts. It makes some people quite uncomfortable. There is nothing wrong in expressing that discomfort. It is not a criticism of William and Catherine, but rather of a trend they find distasteful. It is, of course, wonderful to hear that the King, and the Princess of Wales, are both doing well.

Catherine will need further tests and monitored for any sign of recurrence. If she is cancer free for 5 years then she is considered cured. She will be in premature menopause, and may have peripheral neuropathy , lung damage , heart problems, and other side effects of chemo. The body ages 10 years after chemo. Life will be a new normal for catherine. However, if the cancer metastasis there is hope that stage 4 can be controlled by targeted chemo or ops. She will need to put on more weight for strength. If charles's cancer is the serious pancreatic cancer then it's the most serious cancer along with lung, bronchial, five plus years survival is highly unlikely. I don't think charles is on strong chemo. Perhaps on a targeted immunotherapy treatment.

When my son was a year old I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, more investigations than you could imagine and 4 weeks each of radiation, that was 35 years ago. Now, just diagnosed is my husband with Prostate cancer, he is now taking hormones to reduced the prostate size, then faces 4 or 5 weeks or daily radiation. Each of face this in different ways, I was particularly saddened for Catherine & family, and King Charles - that theirs wasn't private, but had to be played in public. But you cope! you move on, but you never forget.

2 years ago the double rainbows appeared over Balmoral castle , Buckingham palace and Windsor Castle , marking the assent to heaven of our Beautiful Queen Elizabeth II . We were so blessed to have her as Queen for over 70 years. Queen Elizabeth II could light up any city with her lovely smile . She was simply wonderful and I will love and miss her until the day I die . I will never forget the Queens last appearance on the balcony at Buckingingham palace . It was an act of will, as the Queen was already in a wheelchair and could only walk a few steps in great pain as she was dying from multiple myeloma. The Queen didn't want to disappoint the millions of people that loved her so and she rose from her wheelchair to give us a wave and a lovely smile with Prince George by her Side . Stress must be avoided with Multiple myeloma and the Queen went to heaven 6 months earlier than expected. I will never forget how disgustingly H and M treated our beautiful Queen when she was dying. The Queen cried watching the Operah interview . The Queen was so wise and could always make me feel better with her words of wisdom ,no matter what the crisis . Rest in peace with your soul mate Prince Phillip and thank you your Majesty.

Given the avalanche of disgusting and manipulative photos/videos and otherwise fake stories to which the Royals have been subjected, I can't fault them for wanting to publicly celebrate such good news regarding Catherine's health. The Wales' short film was beautiful. It brought me to tears. Having lost my husband a few yrs ago when he was 44yrs old 11wks after an out of the blue cancer diagnosis, I can empathise with the fear they have been going through especially when young children are involved. My children were just 6 and 10 when their daddy died. Catherine had no obligation to release this, particularly after all the abuse she has suffered at the hands of the media and The Sussex Squad. Beautifully done, warm, genuine and hopeful. I wish them all the best.

I thought there was an underlying message of steel in the film. Cancer has changed Catherine, she knows what is important in life and by being focused on her recovery and her loving extended family she has come out stronger than ever. Standing side by side with other cancer sufferers, and wanting to return to work in the longer term, she has clearly indicated that she will let nothing and nobody get in her way. I disagree that Catherine went "overboard" with photoshop in her beautiful family photo. I am an architectural designer with a keen eye... I was so taken with her beauty and grace through this challenging treatment, that I did not notice the photo detail. The only pp that did and had to put it on blast were her detractors and sugars, which caused the world to take notice. Besides, who cares? As a cancer survivor myself, I was especially moved by the atmosphere as well as message of Catherine's video announcement. We who have had cancer have to come to terms with the fact that any 'cancer free' statement by a doctor is typically given with more informed hope than hard certainty. As Catherine states in the video, she has a long road ahead of her, first of all in terms of recovery, and second, in terms of facing whatever the future may bring, which we survivors never know completely. The vulnerabillity exposed in the announcement was touching all the more for being so real; there was no 'Hollywood' about any of it. And, yes, Lady C, Catherine's superb artistic eye makes every moment of the video a feast to watch as well as a feast for the heart. She is a great woman and has the makings of a great queen. God save her.

I thought Catherine's video was moving and she managed to convey her message with her usual calm grace. The love between William, herself and the children was tangible. LOVED THE VIDEO! I moved 2 hours away from home for months to move in with my single brother to help him fight cancer. Chemo brought him to deaths door! I took him to appointments, cooked for and took care of him. Happily he is better, (now 3 years ago) and was well worth my sacrifice. Rich or poor doesn't matter, family does. Sad, but not everyone has a close loving family. When we see loving families we celebrate with them. Some have more than us, some less. Who cares! Love my drama free family and i do my part to keep it that way.

I knew someone who was treated for brain cancer twice over a period of 25 years, and he didn't die of brain cancer. He died of a heart attack. After the second round of treatment, he was given a maintenance program of some drug, or drugs, and it worked to keep him cancer free for many years. What an improvement of medical science!

Sadly, we also have a Meghan in our family. She was trouble from the start and has been the instigator of all the upset caused and division of our once happy family - we had no arguments, jealousy wasn't in our vocabulary until she arrived and things haven't been the same ever since. My uncle had prostrate cancer and he lived with it for years. They gave him medicine to take and it kept it under control. He died in his early 90's; just a few years ago.

Fortunately Prostate cancer is one of the slower growing cancers , like you said , more likely to die of something else .. My son’s father had prostate cancer , but he developed a particularly aggressive form of bladder cancer which took him within a few months .

I have watched the video several times (I won't say how many) and I think it is beautiful. Britain has been in a state lately, with riots and elections and all sorts of tension. That video gave the nation and the Commonwealth a reason to stop for a minute and experience joy. Just joy, nothing more. Someone has gone through cancer hell and is cancer free.
