I'm grateful to Squaresoft for enchanting my childhood with classic games like Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, and FFVI. I'm grateful towards Enix for pretty much originating the JRPG with the creation of Dragon Quest. But Square-Enix is a whole other company, a monster wearing the sewn together skin of two legendary game studios. RIP Squaresoft, RIP Enix, and piss off Square-Enix.

Damn. I pirated FF7 Remake a couple of years ago, but recently bought the Rebirth and Remake bundle on Steam and now I wish I had just waited and pirated that, too. Anyway, this stuff will 100% not hold up legally in court. I also take offense to the "autistic icon" comment. As someone on the spectrum myself, I do not affiliate myself with people who have weird, degenerate ideas about anthropomorphic cartoon characters or watch anime. Sonic is a cool game from my childhood, but giving him a personality was the biggest crime Sega ever committed.

Ok, so... first of all, it is a private company's forums. Even if they are open to the public, it is a private company's forums, so they can kick anyone out they want for any reason. This means something does not have to be a "war crime" for them to kick someone off their site. Second, this is a game company. They are not government. They are not selling any sort of necessity. I am 100% not interested in Square Enix’s AAA catalogue at this point, except for maybe Visions of Mana and for sure Kingdom Hearts, a franchise I hold dear to my heart, still waiting for KH4 and a KH anime. Thank god for that recent Steam release. I only care about their smaller games these days and their past catalogue some of which I hope get remasters. Please a Vagrant Story and Xenogears HD.
