Reading some about Tec Toy's history, I've always found it equal parts cute and sketchy how they re-branded the Master System and Mega Drive 1s as revisions. Totally threw off the naming scheme for the actually-remodeled machines. lmao

@@ZonicMirage to their credit, when Sega was readying the Saturn , Tectoy had an exclusive revision, the Megadrive III, to further save on costs. But yeah , the sketchy bits are hard to ignore.

@@neoretropixels Yeah, truly impressive stuff. Tec Toy definitely knew what they were doing. Really wish the Master System had that much support in the US. I only knew about the NES when I was a kid. @@Guilherme36594 as a Brazilian I say that a company's perception is directly related to their good products and core values. It's a real jungle hahaha I live in Brazil and it's not easy to live with a stupid market that consumes 10 to 1000 times the cost of physical or digital products. I would say that there is no freedom due to the high cost of everything. This is our main reason for backwardness. I believe that the market reserve since the 90s has been manipulated to have a fraction of freedom of consumption. I see technology as financial rape and decrepit and too stupid to realize that opening up technology factories or purchases to everyone within the country at the same cost as other nations, everyone in Brazil, including the salaries of even those who impede growth, would be 100 times more while incompetent and stupid governments are in control. We will have another 40 years of backwardness, just like in the 80s.
