Flosstube 28: Your votes, Frasselt finish & stitching update

Frasselt is gorgeous! I have had my eye on that pattern ever since you first showed it to us on your flosstube videos. My favorite color is...blue! So I love seeing your work and how many variations of blues can go together. It’s hard to pick a specific blue, but I’ll go with DMC 598, which I’m using on a pattern of winter snowy scenes at the moment. You are beautiful inside and out and I thank you for sharing your life updates. So warm and heartfelt and honest; it truly touches my heart.

Oh my Word! Your Frasselt finish is absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for sharing. I have really loved your patterns from your LNS. I wish they were available here in the states but my wallet is thankful that they aren't. As for a favorite thread color. Beautiful finish, it is absolutely gorgeous. I love your colours. One of my favorite colours is Threadworx 1085 Christmas time. I have depressions and winter time is a difficult time for me. Here in Canada we have almost 4-5 month of winter which makes it hard. But I have to say when you speak it is very calming to me and I could listen to you for hours and hours. Look at the beautiful glow you have from your trip to Spain. I am so happy for you. We have just returned from our very first winter getaway and as I sat on the beach watching the sun set on our last evening there, I wondered why we hadn't done this before. Although my coloring for my return was on the reddish side lol, it was definitely worth it. I have just discovered Caron Waterlilies on one of my trips to an out of town LNS store. I was a child in the candy shop. My favorites (how can you pick just one) were Terra Cotta and Tropic Seas. Happy Stitching!

Before I met Christian back in the day, I was an inch away from moving to Barcelona. It didn't happen in the end and that's okay, and by now I don't know if I would still consider it. I love your Frasselt finish! The colors you chose are just beautiful and so beachy. I just found your flosstube recently through mev's videos. I love your positive attitude. It shines through even though you have been facing a lot of trials lately. My happy place is also on the beach with my feet in the warm sand listening to the sounds of the ocean waves. There is nothing better! I don't do much stitching with fancy floss but my favorite colors are also blues and aquas. I guess my favorite floss color would be DMC 336, a beautiful navy blue. Hi Mieke (I am not sure of the spelling), love to see you this well. I went to a similar situation 2 years ago, but here in Colombia things are a bit different, I had to leave (quit) my job and went to all you have been doing by myself, after 6 months I went back to work and even tough things at work are the same I changed and now they don't affect me as much, I've been doing really good. So, don't be afraid to come back at work, you are stronger than you think and looking at your beautiful smile I know you're ready. My favorite dmc color is a blue, 4022. Have fun in your retreat.

As of right now, my favorite floss color is Schoolhouse Red from Gloriana because that's the only Gloriana I've used so far. But if there is a deep blue or purple Gloriana, I would choose that.

All your blues are so vibrant! Absolutely love them. I love your feelings on Promise of the Heart! It's such a spectacular pattern. I'm gonna have to count my Jobelan now... I've not noticed it being off but.... I have to go google a dang DMC chart to find a number for my favorite DMC! It's 550 a dark purple.

Hahaha yesss Galactic is gorgeous! What I love about it is how it seems to change colours under different angles. Sometimes it's all blues, sometimes it lights up dark purple... It's so much fun.

OMG❗️I’m from Brazil and definitely wouldn’t get this pattern around here. 😍 Since the first time that I’ve watched your videos I couldn’t stop to watch them anymore. Ah meis, wat goed om al dat goede nieuws te horen. Je klinkt zo positief en zo zie je er ook uit. En nee, dat betekent niet dat er geen verrotte dagen meer tussen kunnen zitten, maar het gaat weer bergopwaarts. Kan je steeds meer van mooi uitzicht genieten haha. En wat verstandig om weer aan het werk te gaan terwijl je nog ruggesteun hebt van een professional. Je verhaal bij het Tilton patroon was erg mooi en beeldend. Vooral je verhaal achter het boeket sprak me aan. En in combi met de speer. Erg mooi. En bedankt, nu wil ik echt vreselijk graag naar Spanje!

Ik heb weer genoten van je flosstube! Wat zie je er goed uit, fijn dat het weer wat beter gaat! En WoW wat een mooie finish, prachtig! Je borduurplannen zijn ook super leuk, lekker er van genieten! Tja en dan mijn favoriete kleur, dat is altijd iets met rood 😉 de echte favoriet is Aurifil nr 2260. Dit komt een beetje overeen met dmc 816!

Wow Mieke, wat is Frasselt mooi geworden zeg!!! Ik kan niet wachten om deze in het echt te bewonderen in Roden!! ;-) Je ziet er goed uit, het is te zien dat het de goede kant op gaat!! Ik denk dat je er goed aan doet om inderdaad weer rustig aan iets te gaan doen op het werk terwijl je in therapie bent. Ik heb dat ook gedaan en je kunt dan de tips die je krijgt in therapie in het normale leven toepassen, dat helpt echt! Ik weet dat je er tegenop ziet, maar zodra je ziet dat je bepaalde dingen kunt toepassen en dit werkt, voel je je gelijk een stuk beter hierover!! Mijn favoriete floss color is DMC 115 en Passie van Joke!! Ondanks dat blauw (oftewel Peacock) mijn favoriete kleur is ;-) Ik kan niet wachten om je weer te zien bij de retreat, nog heel even!!!
